Listen, I'm not a seafood gal normally, but when you are on the coast of Ireland you have to venture out. My husband and I made reservations here before traveling, and I'm so glad we did. We were seated as soon as we arrived and...our waiter was very friendly and helpful with our selections. Every bite we ate was eye-rolling, mouth-watering, sinfully delicious. We ate an appetizer, two entrees, and made ourselves save room for dessert. Yes, the price tag was hefty. To me, it was worth it for an amazing meal.More

We found the food over-priced and of average quality. My oysters looked and tasted as if they had been open a while: dry, small; the main course of sea bass likewise. Odd considering it's in a vibrant sea port. Vegetables were served in a small...portion though we were told we could ask for more. Why not serve an adequate two portions from then start? We were offered an early table as we hadn't booked and agreed to gone by 7.30. But from the main course onwards we were asked again and again what we wanted next and then the bill was produced. Not rude actually, but perfunctorily.More

I had been researching restaurants for when we would be in Dingle & everyone suggested coming here & it didn't disappoint! I was just glad we could get a reservation. Wonderful dishes & the seafood was delicious. Another couple in our tour group went the...next night after our recommendation & loved it as well. I'd go back for sure on my next trip to DingleMore

We chose to eat here because of the high rating and a desire for sea food. We all had a different dish and several appetizers—none of it was very good. The presentation was gorgeous but the taste was not there. The service was impersonal and...we felt neglected by our waitress. There are much more and better options in Dingle.More

This was our third time dining at Out of the Blue and I can't imagine visiting Dingle and not eating here. The food is absolutely amazing, fresh and imaginatively prepared seafood. The wine list is good and well-chosen. The ambience is charming and casual. You'll...need to reserve a table well ahead of time, but it's well worth making the effort.More

The seafood was very fresh and well prepared. The building doesn't look like much from the outside but is cozy inside. Be sure to make reservations.

Excellent!! Everything is exceptionally fresh. This was our first Michelin restaurant experience, and we really enjoyed it. Very down to earth, relaxed atmosphere. The menu changes daily. We had Glenbeigh oysters, which were amazingly buttery tasting. The scallops, plaice and pollock were all superb. Simple,...flavorful presentations highlighted the freshness of the seafood.More

Food and atmosphere were unbelievably good! Very cozy and unique. The fish is fresh and the sides are fantastic. The server who took our order was a bit cold in demeanor but we enjoyed our special dinner with friends anyway.

Food was uniquely prepared and as fresh as it can be. We were a party of 7, and one dish was better than the other. Staff was fantastic, accommodating and helpful in choosing which dishes we should try.

We had the scallops, mussels appetizer (which was excellent), John Dory & Turbot, and even though very good, we had better seafood elsewhere in Ireland other than the mussels. I'm not a big fan of them but tasted 1 and would have eaten more if...it was my order. They were very good. The seafood was fresh, just thought the preparation would have been more.More
