This hotel is an Old World classic from the accommodations to the food and service. Everything was top shelf. If you go, you must have a drink in the bar and enjoy the bar man, John Moriarity. While there, we were sightseeing in the mountains wit a rental car. It broke down. The hotel sent a car with two men.... More

I travelled to Kenmare on my hen party(4 hour journey). We did not stay in this hotel but I choose Kenmare especially to do "afternoon tea" in this hotel with my friends. I called to the hotel with my mother and two sisters to make a reservation for approximately 30 people. When we got to the hotel we asked a member... More

It was our first time in The Park and our first time back in Kenmore after a long absence of 10 years - a celebration. The grounds were wonderful and the old fashioned yet classy dining room in pearl grey was the perfect setting for this romantic evening. The "mises en bouche" were intriguing and delicious. I particularly enjoyed my... More

On a recent visit to Kenmare I called into the Park Hotel for lunch. Such a beautiful hotel and understated luxury. I spent an hour of Heaven having a light lunch with a glass of wine and perusing the daily newspaper. Unfortunately we had to stay elsewhere with friends but this was my indulgence. I will be back

Had always wanted to visit the Park and had the opportunity on the occaision of my wifes 50th birthday. Annmarie had the seafood chowder and I had the lunch time special beef sandwich. We both had a glass of Pino Grigio. Both of us very much enjoyed the chowder and sandwich A short but enjoyable visit with friendly and efficient service.

We visited the Park Hotel for tea time (literally tea time, not dinner time) and enjoyed our stay very much. The Park Hotel is a must see for anyone coming through Kenmare. Superb!

We love the Brennan brothers on the TV but live in Kerry so unlikely to stay in Kenmare. When friends came over from the UK we decided to have a meal there last Easter but found it closed disappointingly. However not to to give up we went last Sunday. The hotel is perhaps not to our taste looks very old... More

Our visit to the Park Hotel Restaurant was wonderful. In every aspect of the visit they excel; from a friendly, and professional welcome, to outstanding service, FOOD, and presentation. In a five week visit to the UK and Ireland which saw it's share of fine dining, the Park was our favorite evening out. In my opinion the equivalent of the... More

Paid a visit to Kenmare with friends who were visiting from overseas and decided to have a light lunch in The Terrace at the Park Hotel. The setting is beautiful and weather permitted sitting outside. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced for a 5* hotel but the service was very poor. I don't blame the waitress. She seemed... More
