Popped in here for a light lunch so had the potted crab starter….it was divine….a good size & so tasty. My friend had the chowder which was fab she said. The view & location are perfect but our lunch was made so much more enjoyable...by the lovely young lady who served us. She was delightful & even came to the door to wave us off. Truly a great lunch which we were still talking about at the end of the holiday!More

We dined for the first time here on a stunning Spring Saturday while en route to Kenmare. The seafood chowder was delicious as was my shrimp chorizo pil pil. The fish tacos were enjoyed by two of our group but they were surprised the fish...was fried. All in all, it was a wonderful experience with very good service and we would definitely return.More

I visited The Boathouse in May for a birthday lunch with friends. Location was stunning. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was simply amazing. I would highly recommend visiting with friends or simply as a couple.

Had lunch here on the Saturday of the Easter weekend. The 4 of us were blown away by the quality of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the setting. Would highly recommend the Boathouse.

Lovely setting with view of the water. The food is so so. Slow service & food overpriced. Won’t be returning. The one positive was the waiter was pleasant.

@ The Boathouse today, fab setting in the March sunshine ☀️, fab food to match!! We enjoyed chicken milanese and the baked salmon on a spring onion risotto, washed down with 2 glasses of Ten Rock Sav Blanc!! Compliments to the chef!

I had a birthday voucher for this wonderful place but had to wait because of Covid. Well, it was more than worth the wait. Beautiful location with fabulous views over Kenmare Bay. The staff are so friendly and very efficient. The food was scrumptious. There...wasn't a thing I could complain about. Quite expensive, I was glad we had a voucher. We had 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 drinks and 2 coffee's came to almost €100 but as I say exceptional food so well worth it.More
