Been here with family an it's a great place to eat. It has a child's play area outside, and tables if you want to eat outside. Service is good an the savory and sweet pancakes are great. Would visit again.

After my boyfriend got recommend this place for pancakes, we decided to try it. A little off the beaten track to find but well worth the visit. Pancakes and light snacks available, in a cosy quirky styled cottage with a nice little gift shop at the back. Pancakes with whatever you desire as a topping!! We were real children and... More

we called in on our way to sneem, although its famous for its pancakes, we actually had a scone, sort drink, apple pie and tea, all for under e10.00, its a great little cafe, very quirky and busy, all the staff were great.

This little gem is stunning. Happiness on a plate, couldn't fault it. Every kind of pancake you could ask for. A lovely place to stop on The Ring of Kerry. So charming.

I have eaten at Strawberry Field Pancake Cottage in the past so I was very eager to return during a recent vacation in Ireland. It was even better than I remembered. The food is absolutely delicious and the pancakes are a type of thick, not closed, crepe. They offer both savory and sweet pancakes as well as other menu items... More

We were pleased we stopped here as we initially passed the place and only decided to return because it looked an intriguing eating place (all in pancake yellow decorated with strawberries). They really know how to make a decent pancake - light and crispy and offer a big selection of both savory and sweet pancakes. The tea was served in... More

Oh Lord how we love this beauty. Year after year we used to drive past and say 'we really must stop here sometime', well this year we did. What a beautiful red and yellow gem this place is. The WHOLE experience from driving into the car park, looking at the beautiful bright cottage nestling in the County Kerry countryside and... More

Such a wonderful place. Pancakes are out of this world. I tend to always go for the sweet but last Sunday I tired a Savoury one, Bacon, sundried tomatoes and goats cheese. It was AMAZING!! Although it was a busy time staff were excellent and very efficient. Defiantly worth a visit!

Huge extensive pancake menu for sweet to savoury... Dairy free, coeliac and vegan if you require. I'm dairy free and thought I'd be watching my daughter and my mom eating..I was thrilled when I realised I was able to order a dairy free pancake. The atmosphere here is so lovely, tea is served in a cast iron pot with a... More

Pancakes were tasty and big enough. The selection of them is pretty good..I ate one savoury and it was enough for me.When hungry 2 recommended:) We had small bowls of soup. The portion was tiny to be honest but equally tasty. The soup was broccolli, carrots and cashew nuts blended in nicely..Delicious bread on the side. The service was only ok.It was busy and only... Description
Our Pancake Cottage is beautifully located up in the mountains on the Moll's Gap to Sneem road, between the Ballaghbeama Gap and the Gap of Dunloe. When travelling from Killarney town, take the road through the Killarney National park and at Moll's Gap you take the road to Sneem (R568). We have a good selection of sweet and savory pancakes, homemade soup, apple-pie and scones. A little playground and a lovely gift/craft-shop.
