Had a fabulous meal. Scallop appetizer and Thai style fish cakes were perfectly cooked and perfectly delicious. Duo of lamb was outstanding and the filet of sea bass was as good as I have ever had. Service was good and wine list was good. It...More

The first time we were in Kenmare was 1997 and we ate at both the Lime Tree and Packies. While both were excellent, we thought Packies was better and had planned to eat there when we returned in 2018. However it was Monday and Packes...More

The food was outstanding. Wine list is very reasonable they have private rooms for big groups. Fish was cooked with great tast. Easy to walk from hotel on other side of town.

Service was mediocre food was worse. The dining room was lovely. Chowder had no fish and undercooked potatoes. Two under seasoned pieces of broccoli and a few carrots as the veg. The only thing they knew how to do was charge. I wouldn’t recommend.

Our server was very unfriendly(red haired young girl) her rudeness was unbelievable it really put us off our food. Food is so so very pricey for what you get. We left hungry and poorer. There's more places in town that'll fill you up for less...More

The Lime Tree is recognised as Kenmare's landmark restaurant. Housed in a beautiful building dating back to 1832, the food and service continues to win accolades and many new customers. The quality ingredients are sourced locally and then carefully prepared with passion. Fish from the cleanest waters in Europe is delivered daily and lamb is provided by the local farmer. Simple caring preparation ensures tasty food. The service is friendly and efficient with an emphasis on value for money in an informal manner.
