visited The Lime recently and thoroughly enjoyed the duck breast with berry sauce. I have been dreaming about it since. Lovely atmosphere, pity I live in Wexford.

The Lime Tree was an inspired choice; my food excellent - I chose the deconstructed prawns (yes, they really do have this title) and the Kerry lamb. Both of my courses were superb.

My husband I happened upon this restaurant after a long day driving the Ring of Kerry. What an absolute delight! The ambience is charming and cozy and the food delicious. It's a dining must if you are in Kemare.

The Restaurant's exterior is lovely. The Staff was great. Unfortunately, the food ranged from uninspired to inedible (the steak). The smoked salmon appetizer was tasteless (a first in Ireland). The fish cakes too breaded. The steak's poor quality was almost covered up by the chef...More

Loved this place. The restaurant is so cute, with so much atmosphere. A really beautiful location. Staff were very friendly and the food was superb! Not overly priced for what you get. Well worth a visit.

Spent 14 days in Ireland. The food is absolutely amazing as are the people. The Lime Tree tops the list. It is definitely a do not miss. In a converted school house it is very intimate and definitely need a reservation.

The Lime Tree is recognised as Kenmare's landmark restaurant. Housed in a beautiful building dating back to 1832, the food and service continues to win accolades and many new customers. The quality ingredients are sourced locally and then carefully prepared with passion. Fish from the cleanest waters in Europe is delivered daily and lamb is provided by the local farmer. Simple caring preparation ensures tasty food. The service is friendly and efficient with an emphasis on value for money in an informal manner.
