A very nice restaurant, however lacking in atmosphere as we were upstairs with not many other diners. That said, the food was delicious and another Kenmare restaurant the should be on your list of places to eat! As usual in Kerry the service was fantastic...and we had a lovely wait person.More

The restaurant has a 39 Euro menu 3 courses but with an extra surcharge off 10.50 euro on its main course An already overpriced meal becomes very expensive The quality of the food although in very small quantities is very good But verging on the...snack size The vegetables were over cooked and again very small quantities It boasts local sourced produce the steak was on the tough side and was nt even fillet We left feeling a little overawed at the offerings and still hungryMore

Wow, what a fantastic evening we had at No. 35. Amazing food and hosting by Neil who made our dinner even better. The Feather blade is the dish!!! However all the food we ate was exceptional. Highly, highly recommend. Make sure you book.

Tiny restaurant on 2 levels, very narrow, well we were on the second floor, townhouse in the middle of town, not sure if there is a third floor... Set menu, 3 courses only. Limited menu options. The food was very good. The service was excellent...10/10. Rustic and cozy setup. My girlfriend is vegetarian and had limited options but was overall satisfied, she isn't a fan of tofu unfortunately. I had a smoked duck starter which was acceptable I suppose, nothing extraordinary about it though. My main course was a beef feather blade and I have to admit that it was succulent. All dishes were superbly presented. Deserts were delicious, Pear Belle Helene and chocolate Delice.More

Great downtown location, nice atmosphere, wonderful menu and food, and super friendly staff added up to a fantastic dinner experience! Baby beet salad and smoked duck starters, beef sirloin and lamb entrees, and pear belle helene and pink champagne rhubarb creme caramel were beautifully presented...and absolutely delicious. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, the 40 € price per three-course meal was very reasonable. Tops in Kenmare ... tops in our book, too!More

We booked a table to celebrate our 21st anniversary.. It was an amazing experience.. The food was out of this world. My husband had the Sirloin steak.. As a connaisseur he would be very critical.. But he thought that it was 5 star.. I had...the vegetarian option.. A very interesting and outstanding dish with tofu, seeds, fresh vegetables and an amazing sauce... To top it all up the service was super friendly, relaxed and made us feel so welcome... We will certainly come back 😘 Joe & ChristineMore

It was a Monday and our favourite restaurants were closed and we noticed that 35 was open. The very kind waiter gave us a table. He was certainly under pressure but still had a lovely engaging chat with an unmistakably lovely Dublin flavour. We ordered...and our smoked Duck starter arrived after at least an hour. What arrived was four thin 2-Euro-coin-size slices of duck, even thinner than the mentioned coins. It arrived on a messy plate with some tossed raw vegetables and was tasteless. There was not enough to taste anyway. My next course was my favourite, monkfish. After another 1.5 hours my main course arrived and looked promising. But when trying to eat it I had trouble cutting any piece. It was dry and extremely tough like it had been under a heating lamp for hours. This was not the worst, I could only scrape tiny bits of the huge bone in the middle. There was less than 20 grams of fish to each side of the bone. Total 40 grams at the cost of 29 Euros. It came wit a sauce that was tasty but much too salty. With hindsight I should have sent it back but I was so hungry after 2.5 hours… big mistake. In fairness, my wife had a nice piece of cod with a shellfish broth. She liked it. I just picked the wrong courses maybe and started cooking myself when returned home. Having said this, one plus with 3 minuses is not a good score. There are much better restaurants in Kenmare that give great value and can’t recommend 35.More

We visit Kenmare as often as possible which is never often enough since we presently live in the U.S. We always book multiple nights at No 35 every time we visit Kenmare with Neill, who is the superb front-of-house manager. We continue to be impressed...with the brilliant service, warmth, and kindness of Neill as well as the quality of the menu offerings. Thank you for another lovely set of meals this past Christmas. Hope to return ASAP to Kenmare. With gratitude, Rachael & Steve IrwinMore
