I was working in Tarbert for a few days and was told to try this place. It won't disappoint you. The food I had (Beef fillet) was lovely and very well cooked. Guinness was also good I may add! I would come here again, the only criticism is that its a smidgen on the expensive side. But we all see... More

We had the early bird special here for 3 of us. The food was very good and the service was a bit slow to start but still ok. Then after waiting 20 minutes for the waitress to return and take our orders for desert, I had to stop another waiter and ask him where the waitress was. He said "Oh,... More

I love it when a restaurant is consistent with their food .. and the seafood chowder at Allos is ALWAYS delicious .. .hot and creamy with wonderful chunks of seafood ... perfect as a snack, or a starter. I was recommended the hake fish for my main course, and it was amazing .. with a squeeze of fresh lemon it... More

My first time eating here was when I got given a voucher for my birthday from a friend (bare in mind it's only 10mins away from where I live) I had never tried it, I can't believe what I was missing out on!! The decor is lovely, really cosy and homely. The staff are quick, friendly and efficient & the... More

The food is very tasty - had hake special - the portion of fish was good but the portions of potato and veg were small. Friendly and fast service

The a la carte menu is rather limited so expect a choice of only 5 dishes. A three course meal is likely to set you back €50-60. My wife requested her steak to be done a certain way and this wasn't done to her liking. Four mains were ordered and a saucer of 4 small boiled potatoes and a small... More

Consistently excellent tasty food. My favourite restaurant. Staff are so professional and helpful especially Diana and Peter. Helen who is one of the owners is a perfect lady and nothing is too much to ask.

Stopped here for an early dinner on Friday night. The food was delicious, the fillet of beef was delicious and the halibut was really tasty. The service was good and the restaurant is interesting. However the toilet was just awful and to be honest if I had gone there before eating I would have left the place. It was cold... More
