One of the worst experiences. When we arrived, the waiter didn't really care much. After when we sat down, we started to ordered the drink, already they didn't have some drinks in the menu. Then, for the food, they don't have almost half of the...food from the menu. So, we were practically forced to order something we didn't want to eat. So, we said sorry politely that we were leaving because they don't have half of the menu. The waitress was kind of yelling at us. She said "next time please call us before coming to check what we have". For me this is not normal, we don't need to call the restaurant to ask what they have and not have from their menu. So we left without eating and it took us like 30 minutes to get there.More

This is a place where (rather well-heeled) locals come to enjoy local dishes of the very highest quality. Seafood and the famous 'ouassous' crayfish are fresh here (and the latter are from rivers, not from a farm) and what a difference that makes! Don't expect...some particularly creative cooking here, the menu reads pretty much as what you would find in most other restaurants on the island. The atmosphere is very pleasant, rather elegant and certainly fit for a romantic dinner. Service was professional, friendly and quick (although we arrived late and were pretty much the only guests left, don't know if things are different when place is full). The prices are relatively high for the main dishes but completely justified by the excellent quality of the ingredients. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to savour the local specialities fresh and as they should be and in an elegant setting!More
