When on the road to distant parts of Paraguay, I always stop at the Fruteria. A wide variety of foods are available. At lunch time I go to the buffet and make a salad from all the healthful fixings. There is a grocery next door...More

It's a popular place among paraguayans ans foreigners. They have a buffet with a good choice of salads and traditional dishes as well as a take away counter. Prices are reasonable. The inside eating room is chilly but sitting outside quite ok except for the...More

This is a buffet style restaurant on a "major" highway where you pick your food items and pay for the weight of the food on your plate. There is also a section where you buy food over the counter to take on the road, but...More

Good quality food, plenty of variety and clean toilets. A welcome break at a, well almost, motorway pit stop.

This is similar to a large food court. There is very good air-conditioning. Hard to find a seat there. Food is really good, but it is expensive here. I had a small plate of food and cost me almost 30 mil, without a drink. Regardless,...More

If you are on your way out of the capital heading south on ruta 1 then this is the place to stop off at. In recent months it has undergone a big facelift and been extended, but it's good to see the standards haven't dropped....More

This large restaurant serves drivers on Paraguay's Ruta 1. There are three choices of types of offerings: full cafeteria, sandwich & empanadas line, and an ice cream stand, all within a large open space with ample seating for hundreds. We stopped here twice in one...More
