Excellent vegan spot

This is a lovely setting, so peaceful and serene, with the restaurant on a floating deck. There are also tables and loungers on the large grassy area. The food is excellent. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, it’s such a treat to have so many yummy...choices. Everything is plant-based. I had the jackfruit burger, served with slaw on a beetroot bun; so good! There were two carnivores with me and both loved their selections as well. Follow them on Instagram for current information.More

Kola beautiful experience

Beautiful place, you see the lake at its most amazing view. The food was excellent everything is fresh from their garden.

Great location and good food

One of very few cafes we found that are right alongside Koggala lake. Easily accessible from the main coast road, location is lovely and food and drink options very varied. Views across the lake are excellent and we would thoroughly recommend making the effort to...visit. ( Be aware - when we visited in Jan 22 opeining time was 1130 ) Boat trips are available from the cafe, but if you are organising a trip, be clear as to which islands you want to visit ( or not ) as this will impact on timings and price, an the boat guides themselves may not speak much English. Very relaxing and a lovely spot for a late afternoon timeout.More

Beautiful place + food.

Absolutely lovely location + beautiful food with generous portions. It's brave to be a plant-based restaurant and I appreciate that! The service was excellent. Altogether a defining experience if in Koggala/Ahangama/Galle. Hope Kola goes from strength to strength.

The new menu is off its head

Kola reopened yesterday after a long hiatus. And the new menu makes it better than ever. I'll be back for lunch today, and properly everyday this week if I can make it. Lucky to have such delicious food available in plant based options in the...south.More

Great location, great food

The best food I had in Sri Lanka with a beautiful view on the lake, amazing vibe and warm staff. Vegan desert are amazing!

Superrr nice food great location

Really nice chill place right on the water with beautiful views and friendly staff. Food is all vegan, cooked fresh and really tasty!

Yummy vegan delights

Yummy vegan delights at a great spot by the lake. Highly recommend the pizzas (Italian and bbq are my faves), chilled sodas and hot butter cauliflower!

Beautiful location delicious food

Been to Kola a few times with friends. Location is beautiful. Food is delicious with lots of choice. Very clean and staff are very attentive. Highly recommend and we will be back

Sustainable, delicious and amazing food

Kola is my favourite restaurant in Sri Lanka. As a vegan, it's often hard to eat in interesting and creative ways when eating out. I was getting a little sick of rice and curry with vegetables. Here, I don't have to worry and can enjoy...everything on the menu without worry. Furthermore, the food is actually great. The location unreal, (you might even see a crocodile on the lake). And the staff are super friendly!More
