We came here for supper and a beer or two. We were with Brit Stops and I have to say the welcome was lovely. We parked up and then went in to eat, we hadn't booked a table (the restaurant is quite small) but they were very kind and said that we would get a table as soon as one... More

Four of us have been meeting here for lunch at least 3 times a year for the last 6 years. Our latest visit on Tuesday 18th October was so disappointing that we shall be going elsewhere in future. Although the pub was not very busy that lunchtime, the service was extremely slow. We waited for almost 45 minutes for our... More

I was meeting up with 3 friends and we had booked a table. We arrived early and the staff were very helpful and allowed us to choose where we sat. We had drinks and a range of well cooked food. Thank you. I gave a four out of five because the area we sat had quite a bit of food... More

The beef was fatty and stringy.Very unpleasant and should not have been served. No complaints about the staff but the quality control needs to be... More

Called in after a long journey. Very warm welcome including the dog. Food took a while but absolutely worth it. The best fish pie in years! A lovely pub :-)

Tasty, hearty food and friendly staff. Really nice on a cold evening even just for a drink. Good and varied menu, if not a bit random!

We visited the Old Inn for Breakfast after we had got married at Cranberries. We both ordered a large full english. It was perfectly cooked, not greasy, and kept us full until dinner time. Will be visiting again as live nearby.
