Despite busy half term lunchtime the food was as good as usual. I'd thoroughly recommend the homity pie with jacket potato and small salad and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day.

Efficiently serving delicious vegetarian food in a friendly, beautiful location overlooking the River Wye adjacent to the original mill, this cafe is well worth a visit. The portion sizes are generous and well priced; the homemade quiches are tasty; salads are imaginative and the cakes are not to be missed. Great value for money in an unhurried rural setting where... Cauldwells Mill is situated on the Bakewell Road at Rowsley a very interesting place to visit if you like old machinery and buildings There is a lot of stair climbing in the mill and a shop where you can purchase flour made in the mill . The setting is idyllic in almost open countryside and has buildings housing a blacksmiths... More

This cafe/restaurant serves interesting, decent meals in a relaxed casual environment. Certainly better than its closest public house rival for a mid morning meal.

Really nice cafe - lovely mill setting with great views. Wide selection of veggie food - all very tasty and not at all mediocre.

A lot more than I thought, The village blacksmith, a Glassblower, a Mason and a Sadler plus a tour of the Mill all finished off with a snack in the Cafe. Excellent

This veggie restaurant is like going back in time - Homity Pie and fantastically retro salads. It feels as though it all comes from the Crank's cookbook but is none the worse for that. Well cooked food, pleasant staff, reasonable prices and pretty views - what's not to like?
