Good varied menu, reasonable price, tasty and well cooked food. Not pretentious, as some pubs are becoming, just honest grub in nice surroundings. Seemed to be a lot of locals in which is always a good sign. Would definitely return.

Greeneking pub with Greeneking menu. Friendly team, nice clean pub and good selection of real ales. Didn't eat but expect it to be of a reasonable standard from what we saw.

A friendly, welcoming pub that allows dogs in the bar area. A handful of complimentary dog treats was a nice touch. Good, value for money pub grub. The gammon was generous and very nicely cooked. Nice selection of ales. Staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming.

We visited the Castle as it was advertised as dog friendly. We expected very basic pub food looking at the menu, but that would not do it justice. It's pub food done really well! Super enjoyed our burgers and the fries were brilliant. Add in...More
