Came here the other night I had a chicken curry with plain chow mein and salt and pepper chips and my girlfriend had sweet and sour chicken washed down with a few lagers after I can't complain

friendly staff served us a fab takeaway open tray of chips n curry sauce on Sunday evening! really enjoyed it, great to get a proper sized plastic fork instead of the tiny ones takeaways usually give out. Will remember this for our next visit to bakewell.

It used to be awful and I stopped using it for a few years but it's either been taken over or it's upped it's game due to Chinese restaurant opening in Bakewell. The food is not the best you'll ever have but it's not the worst anymore, pretty average. The star rating has gone up from 1 to 3, I... More

We have a takeaway from here every Saturday evening and have done for the last 2 years. Never had a bad meal and the food has always been good. Sometimes this small takeaway gets very busy and orders can be slow. Worth the wait every time, if it's busy, it must mean it's good as there is plenty of competition... More

Pretty standard takeaway menu. Quick and efficient service. Have used this takeaway many times and have always been satisfied.

We had an issue with ordering, seems the locals like to stand at the counter, even when they have ordered so we had a bit of a struggle to get to the counter. Plenty of seats so not sure why they don't sit down? Never experienced ordering quite like it as no number given - called out by amount spent... More

I couldn't speak highly enough of this Chinese takeaway in my first review but I have seriously changed my mind. It would seem the business has changed hands...and that's not the only thing that's changed. The food was tasteless; the beef curry was a million miles away from the ones I enjoyed last year. The food hygiene rating has dropped... More

Went in tonight having not been in for a few years. Was completely stunned by the rude staff behind the counter. And it is not a question of a language barrier, please and thank you cost absolutely nothing! I did ponder if I should review it but after going on to tripadvisor I can see I'm not alone in my... We called into this place last night after a few drinks...hasten to add 4 X over 50s not 4 drunken teenagers!!! and we were treated like complete idiots. This man is beyond rude and if it wasn't for the fact that no where else was serving food we would have walked out....needless to say we watched them cook our food... More
