Cosy little tea room. Friendly owner and excellent homemade fish cakes! Only down side was the very long wait with regular assurances from the owner of "It's just coming" (it wasn't!). But food was great when it arrived.

In a very sweet court yard. Staff not very friendly. Kept waiting for service even though the tea room was not busy. Quite expensive for what you got. Espresso needs to be worked on!!

My friends and I turned up without booking had a fantastic afternoon tea. We were moved upstairs to give us extra space. I was able to swap my tea for a tasty hot chocolate. Patsy was great! Thank you!

Apologies firstly for the late review. Surprise visit for my birthday at the end of July. Lovely quaint little place. Afternoon Tea superb. Scones fabulous. Friendly and excellent service. Thanks again.

Called in today for a quick hot drink, since sunny Bakewell wasn't. More chilly than sunny. Hot chocolate was pleasant and thick. Tea served in a china cup, which tea connoisseurs will no doubt agree, improves the taste.
