Popped in for lunch. We have been to Bakewell many times and decided to try a different tea rooms and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and had a laugh with them. The tea room is lovely and the food is good...More

I visited with my parents and dog so sat outside in the courtyard area which is very pleasant. My parents were given throws to ensure they were kept warm ... lovely touch. We enjoyed wonderful coffee and the most delicious Derbyshire Rarebit with added bacon....More

We stopped off for a great coffee break on Saturday after some retail therapy- so good we went back for Sunday morning coffees the next day !! Sat out in the courtyard- bliss !!

The staff are warm & friendly, greeting all clients as they enter. There is an excellent, varied menu, the food is individually prepared & arrives quickly. The cafe is small downstairs but there are more tables upstairs & outside in the small, cosy courtyard.

What a great find tucked away. One of the best tea rooms I've been too. The Derbyshire cream tea was out of this world and the staff were so lovely. Will definitely be visiting again when back in Bakewell xx

Happen to stumble on this place, as it is tucked away. Lovely food ( Derbyshire Rarebit ) and coffee. Very friendly staff. Highly Recommended.

Sat outside in the gorgeous October sun . Very pretty courtyard . We didn’t eat but food looked lovely. Staff very friendly 😊thank you x

this is a quaint English tea shop that has friendly staff, serves a good cup of tea and delicious Bakewell tart. Be prepared to wait if they are busy thou.

smiths island car park holds aproximatly 500 cars and is £2 for up to 4 hours and £4 all day. if your in Bakewell for 3 days or more there are car park concessions @ £6 for three days 7am - 6pm only.
