Had the sticky ginger cake (absolutely amazing) and a pot of decaffeinated tea. We managed to sit outside and admire the view over the Mensal trail. Both were brought out to us, and staff were friendly.

The first thing that catches your eyes is the breathtaking view of Monsal Head, which you can walk around to your hearts content. However, as myself and my partner entered this delightful cafe, we were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly gentleman who took our order and served us our drinks at the table. Can't wait to come back... More

It is a very popular cafe with walkers, cyclists and tourists but it still retains it's... More

Really fun place at the end of our Mensal Trail hike. Loved the casualness, plus friendly staff and owner. The scone with clotted cream was delicious, as was the toasted ham/cheese sandwich. Wish we could have tried more items.
