Such a pleasure to eat in a Pub that still feels like a Pub rather than a restaurant. Great relaxed atmosphere. Food was good and honest home cooking rather than the pretentious stuff you get in a lot of the so called gastro pubs nowadays....More

Dear Brendanfms, many thanks for your kind review. I don't know what time you came to the Dog and Fox but the waitresses all start the shift looking presentable. A busy shift can leave some looking a bit dishevelled. However, your comments about the food...More

Stumbled on this place whilst on a drive. Went in to have a drink and ended up staying for Sunday lunch. Food was amazing. Lydia the chef is turning out great, hearty home cooked meals. I looked around and every plate was going back to...More

Food, drink and atmosphere were all spot on for a lovely Sunday pub lunch after a long walk from Bath to Bradford-On-Avon along the canal. The landlord/lady generously catered for the dogs by giving them biscuits, they came and asked after the food for every...More

A classic English pub situated on the edge of the delightful town of Bradford on Avon - just where the town meets the lovely Wiltshire countryside. The pub is within 1 mile of the centre of the town and it is an ideal place to start or finish a walk. The Dog and Fox is known for it's good pub fare as well as traditional draught beers, ciders, lagers and good range of wines. The Garden is a favourite with children and the pub is dog friendly.
