Went here a couple of weeks ago. Really good food. Excellent quality, emphasis where possible on local ingredients. We had the lamb and the fish. Really well prepared. They certainly have a serious chef. Didn't have starters this time, but they look good as they passed by to other tables. The deserts were amazing - leave some room. Lemon mango... More

We were a party of six celebrating a birthday. We loved the food and the pub is cosy. Would not hesitate to go back. Try the crab soup, blooming lovely !! Husband had lamb starter that he said was great.

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found The Longs Arms award laden pub and restaurant in the lovely Upper South Wraxall village. We originally called in for hot drinks during the busy Sunday lunch period. The welcome was warm and genuine. Having read the menu and having several questions answered we reserved a table for the following Tuesday. The... More

We went with friends last night and to be honest it was faultless. Good choices on the menu, all individually prepared and well cooked.

We werr a party of 9 who visited here last Sunday 13th November 2016. We had lunch which really could not have been better. Beautifully cooked and presented. Our waitress was extremely helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended. We will certainly eat there again when in the area.

Faced with 14 of us (8 adults and 6 children) we were very well looked after and the food was excellent. The children all enjoyed their small portions of the delicious roast beef but to their disappointment the ice creams were a little too "exotic" for their tastes! No plain vanilla or chocolate! Especially nice for me having grown-up in... More

We were the first to arrive and were welcomed by a lovely fire and friendly smiles. The chef made an appearance, too, which I always find very reassuring. We had Kir Royal, tomato juice, a glass of Verdejo to start off with. Our sweet and sour sardines were delicious and the other two starters were much appreciated as well. Our... More

I had sausages and mash and it was great! My husband had the soufflé which was delicious but rather small.

This was our second visit, and was just as good as we expected it to be, if not better! We arrived for our booking and were greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, we were lucky enough to be seated by the fire and we recieved our drinks promptly. We both ordered the roasted butternut squash soup for our starters... More

This beautiful country pub belies its exceptional food credentials. It lulls you into thinking this is just a pub but it really offers what I feel is probably the best food in the area. Friendly staff, the welcome was excellent and professional. The spoiling begins with freshly baked homemade rolls and very tasty they were. Mains were superb, interesting flavours... More
