The Nook was once an old schoolhouse that was converted into a restaurant and so the building isn't laid out like a typical restaurant, but it gives it a nice atmosphere. The food was pretty and I had no qualms about their Guinness, but where it can't be beat is in its convenience. It's right across the road from the... More

We had lunch here after visiting the causeway. There were 5 in total, 3 adults and 2 small kids. I had scampi, and the other adults had steak pie and fish and chips. The kids had sausage and fries. My scampi was fab. The tarter sauce was delicious and the food was well presented and very well priced. We really... More

We ate lunch at the Nook on our way to the Giant's Causeway, probably just like everyone else. I was afraid it would be low quality due to the captive audience but I was wrong. First of all, the fireplace was lovely and the long tables near the bar were great for fostering friendly conversation. I had the fish and... More

This is a great place to stop in for a bowl of soup and a beer while visiting the Giant's Causeway. The food and service are excellent and the building itself is neat and cozy wth old photographs of the area and the changes over time.

Cosy little pub/restaurant handy for the Giants Causeway. Had a quick tipple to warm up after visiting the Causeway. Did not have time to eat there but the food which came out of the kitchen looked and smelt good.

The food was good and the place was cozy, but that's it. You have to order in the bar and it was a bit expensive.

Walked in to a massive queue of people, staff who couldn't communicate with each other let alone the various nationalities Tell you to queue one way for food and the other for drink and then pay no attention as to who is next in line to be served whilst arguing with a French woman who can't understand him as he...
