This was our second visit in three months. The first visit was with another couple and the food and service was exceptional. This latest visit surpassed the first visit. The common denominator was our waitress, Kerry. Wonderfully human but also extremely professional. Thank you Kerry x The decor and ambiance was excellent and the whole experience was faultless. Highly recommended... More

Upmarket pub with reasonable sized restaurant. Menu very reasonable in terms of choice. Predominantly English fare but the odd curry for example. Service very good. Food is excellent, well presented, well cooked and delicious. Good choice of drinks including malt whiskies. You need to book

I have been to the Pheasant Inn at Keyston many times for lunch - usually on the way to or back from East Anglia. It is always a great pleasure. The food, beer and service are all excellent. Most recently I visited in January and was delighted to see that there was a beef suet pudding on the menu. It... More

First visit for a few years. Plenty of car parking. Warm welcome and drinks within a couple of minutes. Three course menu for £25. First course fine but no offer of bread and butter to accompany soup dish despite side plates being on the table. Main courses. Well presented but Pork choice had a great deal of fat and not... Mid-summer hot Sunday lunch was relaxing and a quality affair. Our party ate a variety of meals, all enjoying fresh vegetables and flavoursome meat. We were seated next to the window looking out into the village which is beautifully picturesque. The service was good and they were very accommodating of dietary needs. Parking is ample to the side and rear... More

We visited this lovely country pub for Saturday lunch. Food is very solid. I had carrot and ginger soup with butter and sesame. My main is pork chasseur which is amazing. The fat of the pork has a naturally sweet flavour. The sides are delicious, too.

Beautiful country pub, smells of wood fires and delicious food. Had a wonderful lunch of pigeon breast (really tender) followed by pork belly. Excellent Shiraz sold by the glass. Our friends really enjoyed the satay monk fish, fish and chips and steak. All delicious. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had a great Friday lunch, the pheasant pie was great and the price was good also, pie and pint for £10. Needs a little light background music to help with the atmosphere.

This is the type of place that you just wished was in the village next door to you. We'd previously popped in for a sandwich en route to a weekend away and we were determined to visit again for a proper meal. We will be going back! A warm friendly welcome, an excellent choice of drinks and a spot by... More
