We recently visited the Granuaile Restaurant in Kinnegad for Sunday lunch.The restaurant was very busy.
We both selected roast beef with all the trimmings.Food absolutely delicious,dont know what the secret ingredient was in the gravy..mouthwatering.
Menus offers a hugh selection.
Service by very friendly competent staff.
The proprietor, the ever pleasant Grainne insured that we were happy with our choices and very noticeably she had the time to talk to all her customers.
The bakery next door a must visit. An array of homemade tarts.scones,breads, jams and a wonderful Deli and the finest coffee in town.
Highly recommend the Granuaile....

We were very lucky, got a lovely seat in the sunshine. Ordered breakfast, initially thought it was a little expensive as they charge for tea separately. Quality was perfection for every product on our table. Staff are top class, polite and professional. Thank you for a lovely experience. See you again 🙂🌻

We met friends here for lunch on their recommendation & we could see why. It was a lovely place to meet with excellent staff, who were friendly, welcoming & efficient & the food was really good. We all had varying dishes & each & every item we chose was excellent, freshly prepared & nicely presented. There was a great choice on the menu plus daily specials. I found the chicken de-luxe on Nigella bread to be absolutely gorgeous. Prices were reasonable & very nice portion sizes. The in-house bakery nextdoor was a must before heading for home where we just had to make a few purchases. We'll definitely make a return visit when in the area & would highly recommend a stop here!

Stopped her on way back from holidays. We only wanted something small so opted for tea/coffee and scones. Scones were fresh and tasty, came with cream and jam. Service was quick and friendly and good value for money. Saw other food being served and all looked good with excellent portion sizes.

Haven’t been here in a few years, came recently when in the area and it’s still as good as ever! Coffee is good, we had takeaway sandwiches which were so tasty, bread fresh and tasty ingredients. Highlight for me was a coffee slice, think I’ll have to return for another one soon. Cheesecake of the day was maltesers and it too was very good. Keep up the good work, very nice staff.

We had an amazing meal with our friend today. The food and service was top class. We were going to Emerald Park today so we wanted to have a good start We had 14 (adults and kids) so we rang them yesterday to see if they could take us. They were very helpful and revered seats for us. We would highly recommend this place.

We were a table of 6 and 5 of us ordered the cold salad and meat platter! We all loved it. Plenty of food and could not finish my plate. Salads were gorgeous. Home baked goods looked fantastic. Staff was wonderful especially Nuala. 😊 Can't wait to go back.

Was looking forward to nice lunch with my family.
Firstly customer service by some staff is terrible. Food was average and cost didn’t reflect that. No indoor dining was permitted even if u had Covid CERT so that meant outside with wasps and they swarmed every table so our meal was not enjoyable.

Regular visitor here. What a fantastic restaurant. Lovely clean surroundings, staff are top class and the food is always fresh, well presented, tasty and plentiful. Menu from morning til evening is very good and reasonably priced. One of the best places in Ireland for breakfast. Toilets are very clean. Looking forward to returning. Well done guys.

Ordered breakfast
2 other tables who came in after us served before us. Had to ask twice for toast that was supposed to come with breakfast. Staff member was unfriendly and food was not great. Mushrooms were burned. I wouldn’t serve them at home.
Local to Westmeath. Won’t be back.

Stopped here this morning for a coffee and bite to eat... Thought we'd have to do a take away...Covid restrictions... .. To our surprise they have a great outdoor eating area to the rear. We were served the very best of food with great coffee. We were very impressed. Next time I'm near Kinnegad I won't be stopping at the Plaza (petrol station) .. Its here I'll be stopping off.. Definitely recommend this Oasis of good food.

We were passing through and stopped for breakfast. They made room for us even though they were very busy and we had no booking, but they were so nice and welcoming. We both an amazing breakfast and our son loved the pancakes. The cuppachino was gorgeous. If your in Kinnegad, you have to visit this cafe. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped in on our way from Dublin Airport and had a delicious dinner. Turkey and ham was fabulous with large portion and so tasty. My daughter went for toasted panini and chips and it was also lovely. Lovely friendly staff.

Excellent service, delicious food, cozy & very popular! This was our second visit passing through Kinnegad. It will be our regular pit stop in future. Plenty of on street parking is a bonus.

Unbelievable food. The best ever tasted. The girl serving us was a joy and even though she was very busy she still had time to chat to us and tell us a little story about her dad and his huff over the jelly her mam made.
