Fine dining located on the waterfront in Esperanza. Innovative cuisine with lots of flavors. Featured items include fresh local seafood, specialty cocktails, and local greens. Vegan and vegetarian items also available.
We went on one of their first nights being re-opened. The hostess was kind of rude. We had a 3YO with us and she thought he was going to be sitting on my lap and wouldn't bring us an extra chair until she spoke with...More
We have missed EQ post hurricane María, but they are back and better than ever. Kate and her husband Scott are always great hosts and the newly remodeled restaurant is looking great.
We brought our adult children and their friends for a wonderful dinner. Great...More
Restaurant El Quenepo has been a favorite for years. Severely damaged from Hurricane Maria, the owners Kate and Scott worked hard on renovations and have exceeded the previous ambiance. The food is still the wonderful combination of local ingredients with a flair. Fresh, delicious.

It is great news to see that the constructions workers are day in and day out working to get the restaurant back on its feet after hurricane María. I am excited to see daily progress so that we can go eat there this year. We...More
