I’ve been here in a number of occasions and have always really liked the ambience and food, but tonight was very disappointing. I had the “special” crab linguine with chilli and coriander and was advised by the waitress that it was very spicy, that was...More

Family catch-up meal so the convivial atmosphere was a perfect mood setter. Staff just lovely, food awesome, I have to say I love a place that makes a real pie, not a stew with a lid on, and this was a real pie! Cornish gin...More

This is a very nice pub and we had a lovely meal. I ordered the chicken curry which was breaded chicken in a sauce which was lovely, the only thing I would say is I could have done with more sauce.

Just had an excellent supper of salmon with deliciously cooked vegetables, aldente, potatoes and caper stack, creamy fennel sauce. Followed by a very moreish sticky toffee pudding. Lovely!

Goujon Caesar, Halloumi flatbread both delicious. Mackerel burger was a little disappointing. Great decor in this pub and easy to reserve a table. I can see why reviews say the wait staff are a little disinterested but otherwise worth a return visit.

Nice atmosphere. Waitresses a bit uninterested. Asked for a gin and tonic. When it came there was so much ice in it if I had lingered over the drink I would have had gin and water. The meal was OK, nothing more. Fish a little...More

We went here for my birthday and had a lovely meal. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was good. The food was delicious. The only downside was the cutlery was not very good quality, which I know sounds a bit strange, but it...More

Not totally flat but the entrance part of the restaurant which opens out into a large room has plenty of space for a wheelchair if you notified them. Not sure there is much parking nearby and it is half way up a hill. I... More
