Called in today for Sunday lunch as we were passing. My husband and I had the roast pork and I had the chocolate torte for dessert and he had the apple crumble. The food was plentiful and full of flavour, really delicious. The pub had a friendly welcome and good service would be happy to eat here again.

We stopped here about 3 weeks ago on our way to Truro for a family gathering. The pub looks presentable on the outside, the inside is rather more dates but I guess suits the village pub genre. The food was not really up to scratch, quite bland and the service was worse. The waitress didn't seem to be comfortable or... More

Just stopped for lunch as we were passing the door, we were greeted with a friendly smile and good choice of local ales. The menu was small and perfect we had beer battered fish and chips which was absolutely excellent. I would definitely recommend the food.

We visited The Falmouth Arms twice during our recent stay in Cornwall. We had dinner on both occasions and the food was plentiful and tasty. However, it was the friendly ambience and cosy feel of the pub that made the biggest impression on us. On our first visit our enjoyment was enhanced in no small measure by a lovely log... More

Went as 2 couples while on holiday. They enjoyed the main course but my vegetable lasagne was dry but had flavour. Had possett for dessert charged £6 for what seemed like 2 spoonfuls, not value for money. Staff were friendly and service quick.

After a long wait in a very crammed pub,was very disappointed with the food.the curry was bland with no heat, the crème brulé was a let down.with six diners eating six different meals not one of us was impressed.

The menu was great and food was very tasty, especially enjoyed the onion rings!!we were a group of 7 ladies and also enjoyed the wine.our only criticism is it closed for the afternoon. However our waitress/barmaid was a delight a breath of fresh air with a happy bubbly sense of humour. ..even when asked if... More

Description
Come and enjoy delicious pub food together with our finest local ales and fine wines in our historic freehouse village pub. Our excellent cuisine, varied menu and welcoming ambience will combine to provide you with a memorable dining experience. The Falmouth Arms is an historic 17th Century pub situated in the Cornish village of Ladock, located between St Austell and Truro. The Ladock road was one of the early routes into West Cornwall and passed through the beautiful wooded Ladock Valley. The Falmouth Arms was one of a series of coaching inns along the way, where horses could be changed. Embracing our long heritage, we endeavour to strike the balance between the historic charm of the building, with a contemporary freshness. We are open for food 7 days a week, lunchtimes (excluding Mondays) and evenings. We recommend booking a table for weekends and holidays. We have our own large car park providing easy and safe parking, with a sheltered beer garden and a bookable small function room/private dining area. Well behaved dogs on leads are also very welcome.
