Perhaps not somewhere to spend a whole evening, but really interesting, well priced food which you can see being freshly prepared. Portions are generous. I would definitely eat there again if I visited Truro. A good selection of local gins and other cocktails too.

Everything was perfectly cooked & nicely presented. The duck egg ‘Scotch egg’ was at that perfect point where it was just runny enough to chip dip & the stuffed peppers were excellent. It was lovely being able to sit outside in the warmth of the...More

The food was just outstanding. It was quite busy Saturday evening. We got a excellent and quick customer service tough.

We had the Seabass special and the soup of the day. Both were equally delicious! We regularly come on a Saturday and never dissapoints!

Been many times and had great food before but was probably the worst fishcake I've ever had - watery unseasoned potato, overpowered with dill and where was the fish? Partner's steak was cold. So disappointed but waitresses as courteous as ever.

A quick business lunch in the city lead us here. Service was good but the lunch menu was a paired down version of the evening menu - in portion size but not in cost! When a small side bowl of fries (not fancy ones either)...More

Went to the bar to be greeted by the most miserable of faces, not a smile between the three people working behind the bar! So I order my round of drinks to the barman who apparently has no idea what he’s actually doing! Had to...More

Used to be in the top two for cocktails in Truro, clearly no longer. Ordered an espresso martini and unfortunately two of the spirits that were required were either low or empty but that didn't stop my flashy wannabe cocktail barman from pretending to pour...More
