Great food, lovely atmosphere. We had a table of 10 for tapas, I have never seen such a great variety of food! great quality.

I like this place. Comfortable, nice service, good food. Not cheap especially, but a good feel. Bit of a wait for food last time I visited, but so it goes. Papers around to read...

Popped in for a few drinks post theatre. It was busy but there wasn't a long wait for drinks. There was a reasonable selection of drinks, I personally would have liked a more 'craft' beer selection, but I understand the beers change so perhaps just bad timing on my part. I will certainly visit when in Truro again.

Had a lovely lunch, great atmosphere, good service and an ideal English take on euro style Cafe bars. Rustic and effective

Whenever we visit Cornwall, we visit Truro and one of the only reasons we visit Truro is to eat at The Old Grammar School. Today was a drizzly and dreary day, but there was TOGS with a warm welcome, an updated interior since our last visit and the same high standard in terms of drinks and food menu. We had... More

I only went there for a couple of cocktails on Friday night. Good atmosphere, nice choice of cocktails and tasty but so busy that we couldn't eat. We'll make sure to come back and pre-book next time.

We called in for some cocktails before dinner at Sams in the City which is basically next door. The drinks menu looked good but the service was painfully slow. When the drinks did finally arrive the cocktails were mostly ice and sugar syrup and the coke in the shorts was flat. However, the venue has great atmosphere, cool decor and... More

Popped in on a dank Jan day, the place is warm, friendly and inviting. Interesting selection of non-alcoholic cocktails, we had mango, lime & gingerbeer it was fab. We chose the soup of the day (butternut squash & chilli) and the meze plate to share. Nice selection all homemade. Would definitely go again.

Sat outside in seating area out front, the street is relatively quiet with minimal traffic and pleasant. Lunch menu was innovative, covering Continental, American, Thai with a fish and chips for those wanting cuisine closer to home. The space in of itself is interesting and is probably more of a night spot.
