This is an interesting discovery. The restaurant is charming and typical. Not commercial and has a family atmosphere. Located in an area famous for porcini mushrooms. So lots of good dishes with porcini. They have a set menu including drinks, dessert and coffee. Reasonable and...good food. Micro our waiter was fantastic and very sweet. Really he made the experience very niceMore

What an experience, it was totally unexpected for me to find this hidden gum ... we have been advised to book in advance ,as place can be very busy. When we arrived there was no menu nether wine list like usual you expect in the...restaurants. We straight away been seated and served glass of amazing prosecco ... And then its starts, every 10 min we have been served with different starters and then huge fried wild mushrooms and steaks . And very smooth red wine which was local produce and very nice... In the end here it comes my favourite tiramisu in huge dish ... Unforgettable time and atmosphere , very beautiful nature all around too. This restaurant is unique with character and I love it . Will be back 100%. I love it.More

Great place to meet up with friends and family, not necessarily with young kids unless they like mushrooms, ! The service was fast and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, lovely drive up to the Restaurant which is packed and cosy inside very Italian...feel to the whole experience, I think next time we will go when Mushrooms are in season. 40 euros for 9 courses and wine included, bargain !More

I've been a few times (lunches and dinners) with work colleagues and it's always been great. Lots of fresh cooked and tasty food. It's a menu style place. Sit down and get given what they're going to give you. The house wine is fine too...and then the digestif drinks are just left on the table for you to satisfy yourself till your heart is content at the end! My favourite course is the caesar mushrooms with beef tartare and parmesan. I'd happily go again when the next opportunity presents itself!More

A sad experience - For years we have made seasonal trips to this restaurant with friends and family, mainly because of the atmosphere. The food has always been average (beware! the mushrooms are mostly frozen), the prices quite steep and the service has always struck...me as unnecessarily abrupt and impersonal, but on the whole the meals were a success, particularly for "first timers"! On a positive note, all our guests always enjoyed the house wine! On our last visit though, we were saddened to notice a shift in attitude towards customers, a curt, brusque and dismissive behaviour than one would not expect from an establishment whose livelihood relies on diners' satisfaction. The general change was so noticeable that it ruined our evening and will likely prevent us from going back again. Such a disappointing experience! BTW remember to go easy on the "starter" servings, as by the time you will be offered the "main", you won't be able to fit any of the grilled chops or steaks!More

The great food and wine (and grappa) starts coming shortly after you take a seat. Beautiful experience at a reasonable price.

The 10 course mushroom menu is enough to fill you up. Service is fast and no fuss. They also made their own grappas. Very interesting and unique experience to eat everything made of mushrooms, porcini to be exact. They also have a local speciality of...mushroom that you can only find in this region. Food will not knock you out with a WOW but still good enough if you are a mushroom fan. Reasonably priced.More
