Very friendly. Good price. Fabulous meals. Traditional, extreme flavours. Loved the lambsrack with orange and honey. Lots of choices. Tried several restaurants in the nabourhood.

This restaurant was so good, that we came back for a second evening meal within the one week we were in the area. The food is delicious, the service could not have been friendlier (although you should not be in a hurry); strongly recommend booking ahead. Make sure that you leave a little room for the complimentary desert (tasty honey... More

You cannot visit Plaka without eating in this taverna. You can watch the world go by in quite a rural location alongside the locals sipping the most palatable local white wine. The warm bread served as a starter with the owners own olive oil is superb. The menu has something for everyone and the lamb kleftico was recommended to me.... More

As vegetarians it's not easy to find a great taverna in Crete, but this family-run taverna in the small village of Plaka has a great atmosphere and some super food, including a good selection that is suitable for vegetarians. Everything we ate was presented superbly and the chefs had made the extra effort to turn dishes that are fairly standard... More

We ordered lamb in the oven, chicken with tomatoes and plum sauce, red wine, and the grilled cheese. We were also given complimentary lentil soup and bread with a tomato dip. Everything was good... the grilled cheese and soup were favorites and we will most likely be back to have those again. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

came back here in early Jan 2017. Although very very busy the standard of our food did not drop at all! the owner was very apologetic but we were not fussed as the food was great. only open 3 days a week so we expected it be busy. Menu is smaller then last time but still enough on offer for... More

We came here a couple of times during our trip to this area. The food was fairly standard taverna food, but was nicely cooked and the service was excellent. The house wine was not great, but they had an "upmarket" house wine which was twice the price (8 euros for 0.5l) and that was fine.

Good food, and hospitality. Open several days in winter. Lovely garden open in summer, indoors in winter.

Went here on a Thursday evening for dinner when they had traditional greek dancing on which provided great entertainment. The menu is extensive and generous portions are served. The warm olive bread was excellent as were our main courses. Prices are reasonable. Would certainly recommend.
