Brilliant fresh fish menu in this tiny pub. Amazing variety beautifully cooked and presented.Very busy but lovely staff who were all so helpful. Also a stunning lime cheesecake, best I've ever tasted! Make sure you book at busy times as this pub is justifiably busy.

Our first visit to the Griffin. Booked a table for four people. The food was simply wonderful, and the service outstanding. We all chose fish from the specials menu. The waitress was extremely helpful in explaining how the different fish on offer would be cooked. I opted for the Sea bream, steamed in Thai spices. Was absolutely beautiful. We will... More

They had a relatively small menu of fresh fish of the day, but the gurnard and plaice were beautifully cooked and served. The knickerbocker glory dessert was excellent too!

We had been told that one of the best places for dinner in the area is the Griffin Pub, located in Dale - a scenic little village with a lovely bay. The view of Milford Haven may not be to everyone's taste but it is not from every window, which is worth some praise to the owners. It's a cosy... More

A lovely little pub but really a restaurant, so has a nice casual feel appropriate to the location. As expected and promised the fish was delightful. Cooked well but with interesting little twists such as chorizo and another with wasabi sauce. What really impressed however was the fact that they got it right across the board. The vegetables were absolutely... More

The food in The Griffin is extremely well done. I came here with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. In particular I'd like to mention: - The knowledge of the food by the staff was outstanding. They knew where all the fresh produce came from, how it was prepared, and how it tasted. - The lovely "British... More

We had 2 dinners and one lunch here recently and the food was general excellent all round. Between us, we must have eaten through most of the adult and children's menus and everything we ate was really good. Backed up by competent friendly service, what more can you want, a place well worth visiting. Not cheap but you pay for... More

I fully agree with the previous review in that you do not need to look at the standard menu, stick to the Fish! Every dish that we had was excellent, well cooked and presented. The service is very attentive and friendly. There is a good wine list at £17 to £25 for a good bottle. If you are there for... More

We had popped in earlier in the week and booked on the off-chance. First impressions we not great as you walked into a small, traditional bar, but oh-so wrong! Don't bother with the bar menu, focus on the fish specials and you will not be disappointed. There was something for everyone and the fish was impressive- fresh and well presented,... More
