The fountained at Linton is a great location I'm biased cause we live close all be it a 2 mile walk it's worth it ,good beer friendly service ,good wholesome fresh food , in a pleasant convivial surrrounding,s ,seating out side or on the green with the beck and the Almshouse, complete the rural idyll

On a quiet tuesday teatime we Waited 30mins for staff to take our order for food/drinks with no joy despite both of us making our presence known, the manager then insisted that we moved tables as ours were reserved for a group! Even though she saw us take the table, dont bother

Excellent food. We stopped here for lunch. Parking is not easy but just because there are a lot of cars it doesn't mean the restaurant is full. I had a lovely Seafood Platter, the Calamari was cooked perfectly, and my wife had Liver (see photos).

We stayed in a small cottage in Linton and called in to eat / drink on a number of occasions. Always good , always busy. Dog friendly.

My wife and I walked the 25 minutes from Grassington on 4 evenings to Linton for the lovely food and beer in the Fountaine Inn. On two of the evenings we tried the ‘Tick-Tock’ early bird menu, where the price you pay is the time on the clock. So, at 7pm you can get a bowl of soup with two... More

The Fountaine Inn location couldn't be better especially if you enjoy being surrounded by beautiful countryside with excellent walking with good pub food. The village is in such an idyllic location but quite easy to access from other areas of the Dales. The rooms are in a separate building at the back of the pub so are away from any... More

Four of us were cycling along the Leeds Liverpool canal. We had started in Blackburn and our first overnight stop was in Barnoldswick. The Foutain Inn was very good. The atmosphere in the bar area was excellent - really friendly. We had two good rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant area. The food was excellent and the portion sizes... More

On a cold Easter Saturday I’d already failed to park in busy Kettlewell and been dissatisfied by the pubs in nearby Grassington when I came to Linton. When I’m driving I always restrict myself to one pint so it has to be a good one. I’m very glad to have found the wonderful Fountaine Inn. Linton is a pretty village... More

Visited for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and we were very impressed by the setting/pub/restaurant and food. We had roast beef and pork served with very nice fresh vegetables and what has to be the BEST/Largest Yorkshire pudding that I/we have ever eaten!. Service was very efficient/friendly and overall - great value for money. We will defiantly be... More
