Porta Via is a little hard to find, but well worth the effort. It's small, cozy & the owner is very friendly. The food and wine prices are excellent and the food is delicious. Serving sizes are generous. A lovely find.

Whenever I am served a meal that is so hot i have to wait for it to cool off, I am happy. Our meals all came out hot. It helped that they tasted good and the portions were large. Haven't seen scallops that big in...More
Another great find through Restaurant.com. Soup, salad dressings and bread all home made and fantastic. The grilled salmond was excellent with the presentation an envy of any five star restaurant in the big city. Chicken pasta entree was great with serving size just right. Service...More
We tried this restaurant a couple weeks ago for the first time. The food was great and the staff very friendly. We will return.
We literally had the place to ourselves. Food was good but not exceptional. We were not given water and the Parmesan cheese was from a box. The veal parm appeared to be a patty however the seafood fra diavlo was pretty good, thou very spicey!
went here because we had a coupon and if we had more time would have gone back without one....all the food was great, the veal scallopini, YUM and for dessert, the mango raspberry cheesecake was AWESOME...we wanted more but restrained ourselves.....not far off the island...More

I don't know how David the cook makes this, but it has to be the best chocolate cake I have ever had. It has a soft center and REAL whipped cream on top!!!! Also, the "drunken" rice with cream sauce was delicious :)
