I am mystified, sometimes, by the spottiness of T/A reviewers. This place puts out good honest French cuisine, and half the "restaurants" rated higher put out pizzas and snack food. C'mon, eaters, get a grip! We were welcomed warmly and seated beside the stream (elsewhere the PA was blaring "Girls Just Want to Have Fuu-uun") in the shade of a... More

We (a group of 11) were recommended this restaurant by a local???? They set a table for us some of us wanted to leave by the way we saw the service to other guests but it was too late so we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake! The owner had a Bad attitude... More

Pleasant friendly staff and an excellent location by the river, however, everything else was dreadful. My husband and I were given vegetables with our main course and we have no idea what they were. I had the thick smoked gammon steak, couldn't find any thick part, my husband had the catalan sausage which was pretty awful. asked if we wanted... More

Pretty restaurant in nice (ish) location. Service very good from friendly staff. food was decidedly average. Scallops on the specials board came up with too many flavours and ingredients, taste of the scallops was lost.

The position is fantastic and the food is terrible and expensive. There is a small menu which gives you hope that it is home made; if it is I have to wonder. Very colourful presentation (if you like ...) but that's the end of the pleasure ...

We visited to follow the Charles Rennie Mackintosh trail and found a beatiful location with crystal clear river where we saw Kingfisher, Dipper, Heron, Cormorant, and Wagtails. There was a small market in the square, with the restaurant nearby with outside terrace. The waitress was welcoming and I went inside to view the paintings on the wall, and she told... More

It's a small restaurant, very busy in summer but it's closed during winter. It serves a mixture of French and Catalan cuisine; it has a lovely terrace to dine during the warm summer months. When you are here, try its Mussels in Banyuls sauce and French Fries!
