What an experience our dinner at l'Assiette Champenoise was ! My wife and I are fond of gastronomy and often try to visit Michelin starred restaurants durong our vacations. A week-end in Reims not being a priority, I decided to make a trip there just for the dinner at l'Assiette Champenoise, as it is not very far from Paris (90... More

Had an exquisite tasting menu together with my wife and another couple rounded off with a cheese trolley out of this world (we counted some 30 different varieties) and a very artistic lime dessert. Impeccable service throughout and the wine list featured some 2,500 wines.

Booked in January last year to eat at this restaurant a few nights ago as a celebration for both mine and hubbies 60th birthday which are looming. From the minute you start with the aperitif and appetisers to the very last course, it is sheer perfection. We were a party of 6 - 4 had the Emotion menu and 2... More

The chef, a polite, fun and creative person, is truly what gourmet cooking is all about in France, We ordered the full gourmand menu and it was just a wonderful experience. The champagne and wine pairings are unbelievable. I've been to French Laundry and Manresa, but honestly, this surpasses both of them. I laughed and had a great time with... More

I highly recommend a weekend there - fully dedicated staff ( except one of the sommelier at the restaurant who will snob you because you spend "only" 1000 euros in wines) - bartenders are really knowledgeable and look after your confort and drinks - rooms and public area are really though after - food is really great ( 3 Michelin... My wife and I had a delicious meal a L'Assiette Champenoise but.... We were there on a quiet evening with the restaurant about half full. The food was fantastic but the service was not very good and extremely slow. For a three star restaurant you should expect perfection which this was not. The waiters were not discrete and continuously running... More

We visited this "gourmet" restaurant for dinner expecting wonderful things since they have three stars but what a disappointment. The service was in your face and after changing the two candles before desert, for a different style of candles, and after changing our napkins, again just before desert, it doesn't show a lot of thought for the customers as they... Food overall is excellent as would be expected from a 3 star michelin restaurant. Creativity, quality of the ingredients, perfect cooking, etc... I found however that not all dishes (we had one of the menu degustation) were quite up to that star level. But although not oustanding it is remarquable. Also, what is definitely not up to that class of... More

We decided to stop in Champagne, coming back from U.K., and we could not make a better choise. We had been in the Hotel many years ago, is a kind of chalet, very traditional on the outside but now very modern inside, and we had a nice and confortable room. We had a delicious aperitiv in the garden, with excellent... More
