We visited for a drink and food at a weekend. We were very disappointed, food was of a poor standard and nothing was home made even though advertised as home made. Much of the food was of a cheap quality and over cooked. Unfortunately we...More

Just had our second meal and night out at the wheatsheaf, and I must say the food here is fantastic and very well priced. Lee and Mary and all the locals made us feel very welcome, and I would recommend for anyone to visit here....More

Unfortunately the staff weren't very welcoming. Menu was limited on a Thursday evening. The burgers were poor quality and chips appeared to be frozen.

Nice people. Food was ok and nothing great. Burgers were frozen for sure. Wouldn't eat here again but would visit.

We visited The Wheatsheaf twice during our stay, once for a meal from the standard menu and once for the Sunday lunch. The layout of the pub is a little unusual, with the restaurant up a fairly steep staircase. The door to the Gents is...More

I'm not sure either sorry. When we went there were dogs in the garden but we only went for a meal rather than staying there.
