Came here for family catch up meal and so glad we did. In such a beautiful location a short drive away from Forfar. We ate in the bar and was it disappointed. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. The menu has your pub favourites as well as local scottish fayre. The bar was cosy without... More

Had lunch today really good food and friendly staff. Hadn't booked so ate in the bar which is comfortable and for us has a plus as dogs are welcome in the bar. Ate here last month in the evening with a friend and food was excellent then too. The restaurant is well set out impressed.

We visited Drovers Tasting Night with our son and enjoyed it immensely. Unfortunately it was not particularly well attended, only 10 other guests but we were all accommodated in the "Map" room and were welcomed by attentive waitresses and a lovely open fire so the atmosphere was good. The meal was excellent, every course delicious and well presented. The wine... More

Lunchtime on a Monday proved very rewarding with my choice of the venison burger, using venison sourced on the local estate. The burger was obviously hand crafted with a excellent onion chutney and freshly baked bun. The meat was tender and well seasoned with a lovely barbecued taste. After a morning on the hills the meal along with the open... More

Fabulous food, presented and cooked to perfection, wonderful new wine list and was accommodated with request for a nice, old dessert wine, not on the list - excellent. Great, professional and very friendly service. Highly recommended!

Visited The Inn again last night with friends for dinner. The restaurant is an extension of the old pub and the decoration is lovely. It is tasteful and there is a nice atmosphere. Whether you are seeking a bar lunch or evening meal The Drovers is a good option because the staff are very welcoming and they provide a good... More

Visited last night with my partner for Valentines Day. We ordered from the 3 course Valentines set menu which included 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco. We live quite locally and eat here often as the food and service is usually excellent. However, last night was a real disappointment. The food as ever was top notch, no complaints. However, the service... More

Arrived at the drivers late last week for a meal and was not disappointed. We ordered and ate at the bar and although it was late when we arrived the food was delicious and served at quickly. Plenty of steak in my steak sandwich. Shame there wasn't more atmosphere in the bar but that what the new drink driving laws... More
