Good food. New menu. Staff happy and helpful. Our waitress kept a good eye on everyone to see when they were ready for their next course etc. Vouchers make it really good value for money.

I visited The Albion on Easter Saturday with my husband and uncle. We are fairly frequent visitors and have to say we have never had a bad experience. We met the New Manager and found her very friendly and welcoming, and eager to address, and put right some of the issues that have been raised on recent revues. Yes the... More

Upon arriving at the Albion we were greeted by staff telling us to sit ourselves and we were not informed to order our food at the bar which we were meant to apparently know when we walked in. We decided what we wanted, a sharing starter and two mains and because the two of us were paying separately, one of... More

As we pulled into the car park we were somewhat surprised to find it almost empty....being Easter Sunday we had assumed it would be extremely busy. Sadly we were soon to find out why. We were seated very quickly and told they were operating a full table service....this explained the 8 staff members standing around...obviously it wasn't just us expecting... More

The bar was sticky from spillage, worn carpets and sticky tables ! After ordering 3 meals, we waited an hour at our... More

Was really looking forward to a nice lunch out on a rare day off together. After ordering our food at 2.25 we were told we would have a hour wait. We accepted that and decided it would be fine to wait. Unfortunately in that time we were only reassured that ours wouldn't be long after I had asked when it... More

Went for a family meal here and the food was very good. Staff were friendly and there's a good range of grilled meats on offer

Just had the worst meal of my entire life! We arrive and have to move twice because of filthy tables; then had to change menus twice due to pure stickiness on the menus! Anyway thought we would still give it a go (I know stupid us but we have been in this pub loads of times in the last 6... More
