We visited the Nobody Inn with friends, having visited the inn for the past six years. It has some excellent beers, but my pleasure is the marvellous stock of whiskeys they have. I had a Glen Mornay which is easy drinking and smooth, and after perusing the rather large list at the bar settled on a Glen Turret peaty whiskey... More

I hadn't been to the Nobody Inn for 25 years when I decided to make the booking. Sunday lunch was excellent with main courses around £12. I highly recommend this pub for food.

Return visit after a couple of years & found it was long overdue ! Very warm welcome, excellent food (the fig & brie starter particularly tasty, the steak & ale pie full of tasty chunky meat), discovered an excellent white wine from Puglia (happens to be one of my favourite wine regions).

Visited the Nobody Inn on Friday 21st April for dinner, as my earlier review said it was great all round. As I was so full after the main course but love my desserts - we promised to return for dinner again on Sunday and I asked specifically would the Blood Orange Parfait be on the menu. I was told no... Ate here twice recently while staying in Doddiscombsleigh. Very nice meals, wonderful inn full of character. Service very good, fantastic selection of alcoholic beverages. The inn has a good range of playing cards and board games to borrow and play at your table, a great idea.

Great local beers and lagers; very nice food. Spoilt by the lady at next table continuously feeding her really smelly dog under the table. Why do English allow this? It is disgusting. The carpet really stank afterwards because of this dog.

Visited The Nobody Inn years ago and decided it would be nice to have a drive in the Spring, revisit the countryside and see the hedgerows in bloom... The horrid weather put paid to that notion but the warm welcome was certainly worth the journey today... The Inn hasn't changed, the wood burner was lit, the staff were friendly and... More

Excellent food, service and location. We had smoked salmon and fried squid as starters and both had steak which was perfectly cooked. Service excellent and no long waiting despite being very busy. Perhaps a duster could be put around but otherwise excellent.

Thank S b
