We would highly recommend this little gem of place to everyone we know & we will be back.More

Visited this week for dinner with my mam and boyfriend and it did not disappoint. The food is exceptional, the nicest calamari and lamb I’ve had in years. Service is also excellent, as is the wine and it was an all round wonderful experience. Do...not miss clashganny for lunch or dinner you won’t regret it!More

Had Sunday lunch and would highly recommend a visit. My difficulty was deciding what to have as everything on the menu sounded and looked amazing I went for spiced pulled lamb on coriander nan bread which I really enjoyed my wife had goats cheese on...bruschetta also fab looking at other starters served I’d have enjoyed all of them. The main courses were also most enjoyable I had Hake and my wife had a chicken main served on a very tasty mash with fresh veg and home cut chips. We skipped dessert as we were full and trying to be good, I was tempted but stayed strong. Very good value at €25.50 for two course and only €29.50 for three course for those who haven’t as strong will power like me 🥴. Highly recommend I will definitely return. Ps. Lovely loop walk in the area to work up appetite or work off that dessert.More

I was so looking forward to dining out in Clashganny House but was utterly underwhelmed and disappointed. We were escorted to a soulless room, with 5 tables of 2. Two of the tables were occupied with other couples and we were all safely distanced from...each other. BUT, there was no atmosphere and we all seemed to feel the need to whisper. The main activity seemed to be happening in a marquee where 2 large groups were partying. We both had BBQ spare ribs which were lovely. Rib eye steaks for main were mediocre. Cold salads that seemed to be refrigerated all day were served with the steaks. 2 glasses of wine. Price €100.More

One of the nicest meals I have had in a long time. Love that you can find something different on the menu and so reasonably priced. Booked for a special family occasion and the staff could not have been nicer. Will definitely be back.

Booked lunch for 8 cyclists in advance. Advised they’d prepare something for us. When we arrived, later than planned alas, we got the most amazing Mushroom Soup with cold roast beef sandwiches and ham sandwiches. That description doesn’t do what we got justice. They were...truly some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We had lovely desserts and then tea and coffee and then on our way. Staff could not be more helpful or nicer and 8 of us left on a high. Will be back for sure.More
