Situated in a former home about 3 blocks north of the border crossing, Tomifobia is small and charming. Our lunch was outstanding, both in quality and presentation. Service was friendly and efficient. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the meal offered.

We were a group of 8 people that decided to to eat at Le Tomifobia on consecutive nights because we enjoyed it so much the first night. We were able to eat on the porch and although it was a bit crowded, it was wonderful to be able to eat outside. The staff were charming and very helpful. While it... More

Last August, we had the most marvelous lunch at Le Tomifobia, so we were wondering if we would again find the food so delicious and the place so magical. We were delighted that our second visit this past week exceeded all expectations! Our host, Marie-Yvonne, could not have been more charming! We plan on traveling back to Stanstead each year... More

This is a little restaurant in the village of Stansted that my wife and I visited recently. The meal was hit and miss. Some of the appetizers and main courses were terrific. Some were not. My wife had steak with some type of sauce on top that was not very appetizing. I had salmon pasta that I thought was delicious.... More

Had high expectations, based on some reviews; a French owner; and our desire (perhaps hope) for a wonderful meal. The restaurant has its' charm; the owner is erudite; yet the food was quite disappointing. While the owner is from Bretagne, and one would expect an exceptional crepe, it was more like a flat, lightly filled pancake, quite short on filling,... More

The setting was lovely -- we sat out on the porch -- but the dinner was disappointing. Although the restaurant was not crowded, the wait between courses was very long. The rabbit terrine was good, but it was presented on an bare plate with a few cornichons. We are accustomed to terrine being presented on a lettuce leaf with some... More

A day of Viking from Newport VT into Stanstead, Canada, was highlighted by a delicious al fresco lunch at this charming Creperie just over the border from Derby. Food was delicious and artistically presented. Service was friendly, atmosphere relaxed and unhurried. A little gem !

We wanted to have the cheesecake but they did not have it ...so instead we ordered the cake which the lady suggested! It was yummy ! Its a small restaurant but you do... More

Stanstead was the mid-way point for our drive to Quebec City, so we stopped at Le Tomifobia for brunch. We were glad we did. What a great way to start our Quebec City vacation. The hostess was welcoming, the service great and the crepes hit the spot. We both enjoyed our crepes with eggs, cheese, and ham along with coffee.... More

Not bad but sure wish they had more crepes. We need a good crepe restaurant. A little pricey for what you get too. Not much food on the place for what you pay for. Too bad because the ambiance is nice.
