Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Outstanding friendly service accompanied with superb food, delicious wine menu…what else? We very much enjoyed a relaxed Monday evening.

At Piste 21 the location is spectacular, and the food is very good. However, we were very disappointed with the service: plates were coming out of the kitchen at a slow rate, and the waitress was downright unpleasant when we asked about when the desserts...for the children were coming. Too bad that service was not at level with food and location!More

What a great time I had at this restaurant. Daniel our host was so nice. His help made my visit to the campsite and restaurant very memorable. I would recommend the tagliatelle and a long walk up the mountain. Great place made perfect by Daniel...a great host.More

We arrived here late on Saturday night, looking for a campsite (which was accommodated here too) Daniel the manager made sure we got a table on a busy Saturday night - fantastic service. We ordered the black tagliatelle pasta and veg pizza, both were amazing!...The staff were super observant topping up our drinks when they saw us low. We followed up with a visit tonight for a beer after a massive hike up and down the mountain, where again Daniel made us feel like family friends! What a place and what a guy! Would most definitely recommend a visit for food but also a stay at their campsiteMore

We, 2 people, went there for a Birthday dinnner and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had the onions soup with poached egg for starters. The soup was full of flavour and the egg coocked to perfection. The mains were a Pizza Margaritta and a deer...stew with polenta (mais), which were both excellent. The desserts, ice cream (coup daenemark) and a tartufo flambé, were also really good. The staff arrived with a special chocolate tart with a candle singing happy birthday! The restaurant has a modern yet rustic interior design (think hunting lodge meets modern Swiss chalet). The menu has a great selection of local specialites, option for vegetarians and of course a large selection of pizza. Good selectin of wine and spirits as well.More

Second time here. As in summer we had a very nice experience. Long waiting time. The place is really nicely decorated. Waitress friendly. But: food good only Italian dishes. The pizza really good. Also risotto and pasta. I asked for fish. It was supposed to...have fried artichokes. The food came all separate. First some pizza and risotto. Then duck (poorly served), then fish and meat. When the waitress asked how was it, I pointed that there were no artichokes (replaced by rice). Then she came with some artichokes, not fried but dressed with some sad sauce. Not what I was expecting. Near us a family complained of their Wellington filet. You can go, but limit to Italian food. The fish tartar with guacamole was really good. Not sure if will come backMore

It was 6.45pm when we drove to this restaurant. It is located near by St. Moritz Airport in Samedan area. We were 11 persons. Alessandro, their staff gave us the menu card. They have 4 pages for Pizzas menu. I started with a Creamy curry...soup with coconut shrimp skewer. The light soup with Thai curry ingredient and a cooked shrimp skewer with dried coconut shredded. It tastes delicious and feel warm to my body. Then my main course is a Pizza P21. Pizza with Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Shrimps, Arucola, Baby Tomatoes. The edge Pizza is crisp and it tasted delicious. My dessert is a simple Gelato. That was really enough for my dinner. Thank you Piste 21.More

Modern Alpine chic, bit complicated to reach by car, but likely nice to stop by when hiking or cross country skiing. Regional food, friendly service.

we had some friends over last night and they are 'Alpin Chic' lovers. we therefore made a reservation @ Piste 21. The service was great as we asked the waitress Orsola, the speak only in italian to our german friend, ehich she did the entire...time (goid fun). The meals were harty and excellent quality! Mr Schrämli's concept is working although its a bit off the beaten track;)More

This is a sort of wooden box strategically located at the end of the small airport of Samedan. During the day you can easily reach it while strolling or passing by on your cross country skis. They serve excellent pizza and a good taste of...some traditional Engadin dishes with some very modern interpretation. Both meat and fish dishes are available. Certainly one of the most enjoyable restaurants in the area.More

You go through a very small snowy and rural road along the Samedan St. Moritz International Airport and then you arrive in the middle of nowhere. Piste means Runway... The modern and nice buiding is there and you are welcomed by multiligual professionnals, including a...charming lady from Toulouse. The Italian wine is for the region affordable. The pizza was good and I enjoyed the Deer filet with polenta, which was perfect . I appreciated the mushrooms with sauce. I loved the Coupe Danemark (Dame Blanche) overflowed with hot chocolate. Alltogether a good experience and you will be recognized as a real food specialist of the Engadine valley if you ask your friends to join you there. It's new, It's difficult to reach, It's good, it's pretty but they will love itMore

In the company of friends I spent a lovely evening, the atmosphere is cozy and tastefully decorated, attentive and friendly service. In addition to an excellent chateaubriand with accompanying vegetables we tried the sweetbreads and fillet of venison with polenta, all very good. At night...it is a bit 'difficult to achieve, but it's worth it!More

Modern Restaurant with a view of the end of Runway, Samedan airport. Large picture windows. Interior decorated with local antiques. Super friendly staff, "small" portions are offered for the less hungry, even for desserts. Can be reached by car, bike, on foot or horseback.
