Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Comfortable location at top of the ski lift, FANTASTIC view, good food (above average, normal prices), very friendly and pleasant service

Diavolezza a great place but it all starts with a guy at the ticket office that does not properly spreak german and shouts at client when he has to correct his mistakes. Beautiful hike to munt pers to only find out that this restaurant is...a shame for swiss gastronomy. Mc Donalds like menu with poor quality with a bunch of people working there that has no clue!!! All italians! Do we really need that here? Also a shame for Italy were hospitality and good food is a given! This gr8 place deserves better!More

Typical large nice Swiss mountain restaurant, but what a view!! We ate outside facing the glacier. It was also nice that they would have the kitchen open until 3:30pm since we came back from a hike fairly late. The choice of food was a little...more limited than what we're used to (maybe this was due to COVID-19?).More

Beautiful terrace area right on the mountain - 10,000 feet high. There is a small buffet available for lunch. We had a sit-down meal that was really good. Who knew they would have delicious fish. Breathtaking scenery.

Returned to the Berghaus for lunch this past May during an almost month long holiday- and it was just as spectacular as the first time. Was very surprised at the amount of snow and much more wintery conditions- we were there at almost the same...day- to the date as the previous time- and the first time it was warm, sunny and much less snow. No bother- we loved every minute of it. Food was excellent. My better 1/2 had the vegetarian lasagne which was unique- I had the large mixed salad with the freshest produce!! Had planned on dessert but our waiter was just too busy to get back to us. So we just sat and enjoyed the view! Hope we get to return again in this life!More

Went here for lunch on the last day of August. The food was good as usual and the panorama would have been awesome would we have had snow that day. Was great though

Trip to Diavolezza starts at RhB railway station Bernina Diavolezza, some 3,5 kilometers north, and 800 meters lower from Berghaus Diavolezza. The Diavolezza terrace is facing south, offering very fine views to Piz Morteratsch, Piz Bernina and Piz Palü. If you are not a mountaineer,...the views are probably the main reason to come to Diavolezza; as scenery is different and by far more dramatic compared with other accessible peaks in the area. The restaurant at Diavolezza is OK, offering good selection of food and drinks.More

Ok this is a mountain restaurant at nearly 3000m set in amazing scenery so you expect to pay more and rightly so. But please do something about the organisation. 25 minutes in a queue for soup is just not what you want. One person serving...and one person on the till sat there waiting for most of the time is not efficient. We also had problems finding somewhere to sit. Was it busy? No. Many of the tables had reservations on them - some of them over an hour past the reservation time and still empty. Swiss quality food and proces but not Swiss organisation. Get your act together or I suggest everyone head over to Lagalb where the food is better and the sevice excellent!More

The kids were hungry after playing in the snow, we had no choice but to eat there being aware of the expensive price as this is Switzerland's mountain restaurant. We had been in holiday in Europe for more than a week and started missing to...have some rice so we were surprised and were glad that they have chicken curry rice in the menu! Very yummy and satisfying. Stunning vista even from inside the restaurant.More

The view from the terrace of the restaurant is amazing. Food is good but not perfect. The service is the same as any mountain restaurant - the staff is busy. Prices are high for drink, the price for food is in line with local conditions.

We took the cable car up,(CHF38 return each). Decided to have a simple bit to eat while enjoying the beautiful view and warm sunny day outside the terrace. Many tourist groups. Chinese, Japanese. People came from all over the world. Hiking, Mountain climbing...so the place...is very busy. Not much the service I might say when you sit outside. We had a bratwurst each, costCHF12.80 per piece. 1 coka, 1 small bottle of wine . 2 slices of bread. total bill was CHF59....everything cost extra, like bread or sauce. You juge the price yourself. Up to you want to sit and eat at Berghaus or simply walk around without eating or drinking at this place.More

We've had two lunches on two separate occasions at Berghaus Diavolezza and both times I felt well-fed and happy with my choice of dishes. My companions did too. Extensive menu with many local dishes, selection of wines (local and international), stunning views. The staff is...very friendly (and quick) and food/drinks are competitively priced. We will be back :)More
