We visited this restaurant tonight on a whim, admittedly we kept our order fairly straightforward i.e 3 burger meals and all in all good service and good value so we will return. A good experience.

Really good atmosphere, eat in the bar or the big garden, slightly limited menu but everthing is well cooked and presented. There is also an al a carte restaurant up stairs but best to book in advance. Only possible critisism, it can be a bit slow at the bar in busy periods.

Visited for a Saturday lunchtime as we had clocked the Menu looked full of varied choices and decided to give it a go. Sadly despite the good looking menu the meals were decidedly average and no different to any other pub chain. Lengthy wait at bar to be served.Staff were polite and faultless. Just left feeling if they only had... More

Large carpark at the rear of the restaurant, we found the parking was very good but if it has rained heavy might be muddy. First impressions from the outside are very impressive building from an age gone by. Inside is same low ceilings and an old fire place with lots of character so be careful if you plan to get... I was staying across the road and fancied an early tea . The young lady behind the bar Tasha is a very rare commodity these days and absolutely exceptional representative for Greene King informative polite and so very pleasant. The food was excellent scallops n bacon followed by perfectly cooked rib eye steak. I really enjoyed my visit
