Like many restaurants in the area, wonderful architecture. All the wood and rustic charm. The food was filling, satisfying, comforting, and ultimately enjoyable. The beers in Germany go down smooth as water and pair superbly with the food.

My husband and I went here for lunch on a Sunday. The service, food and beer were excellent. The place was crowded, but we managed to find the last bar table. The schnitzel was tasty, but it's hard to go wrong with ordering that. If...you want to eat here, I would definitely recommend making a reservation.More

When we arrived, we only wanted a drink but after looking through the menu, we decided to eat as well. The asparagus soup was delightful and the matjes starter was as good as I have tasted. The selection of wines and beers was very good....A local copper ale was very nice. We liked it so much, we went back for a drink the following night. The staff and service were excellent. Would recommend, but would be advisable to book if you wish to eat.More

A lovely restaurant, great beer and food, service a bit rusty. Inner room was almost empty yet the two of us were seated at a round table for 5 or so people. In hindsight we should have sat in the bar as that seemed a...bit more lively and fun. This is a good place for larger groups of people.More

My last report on this restaurant was not too good. I do believe in second chances though. So I gave the place another try. I must say this time food was really good en service pretty nice. Traditional German cooking and fresh beer from the...local brewery. Go here, give it a try.More

We went there because it was recommended to us from a friend. We didn't know what to expect but it was a lovely experience. It is a cosy place with nicely decorated rooms, very good and varied beer from the local brewery. The menue is...divers enough to cater to all tastes and for small money you will get good food and a nice dessert. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable although sometimes it takes a bit longer for your food to reach you. That's partly because it is most of the time fully booked. I would recommend to make a reservation to avoid the rush.hour hustle. If you go there during lunch time make sure to ask about the plate of the day. Whenever i.m in Schwäbisch Hall i go there to have a tasty meal and a cold beer.More

nice, cousy atmosphere, most of the time it requires a reservations which I find annoying but if you do your reservation they will honor and hold your table which is great. The food is really good, price is fair for the good quality and the...beer is locally brewed.More

Went inside for a drink and found the staff to be freindly and helpful and liked the interior. Did not eat there, but saw others doing so - looked OK but nothing special

When in Schwabisch Hall, do yourself a favor and take a short walk over the bridge and stop in at this brewery restaurant. Food was great, service good, and beer was wonderful. You can sip your beer and drink in the atmosphere of this great...old beer hall in this picturesque town!More
