This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The flammkuche was truly superlative. The service was great and the atmosphere was awesome. I forget what meat dish I ordered, but it was very very good.

Very local place in Konstanze. We went there a few times for an afternoon beer and a glass of wine nightcap. The staff is very friendly and hard working. We didn’t eat there but definitely will next time
Tamaras Weinstube is pretty much in the middle of the old town of Konstanz, and it is a busy place most evenings. The fare served is traditional and hearty, such as Schweinshaxe, grilled Zander fillet, "Dünnele" (similar to the Alsatian Flammekuchen), Schmalzbrot, etc. Prices are...downright cheap, which means you cannot expect top quality produce. The Schmalzbrot at Euro 2.80 is unbeatable value, but it is very very filling (and quite salty). There are various local wines by the glass - Grauburgunder etc., at also very reasonable prices. Service is a bit rushed...More
Excellent service! The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food came very fast and was delicious. Considering how good the food and the whole experience was, the prices were surprisingly cheap.
It's a nice, simple, traditional place run by a charming lady. At the evening of our visit, the weather was very warm so many people wanted a table outside. They quickly expanded their terrace area, carrying tables and chairs that had been stored across the...street. For the hords of people, there were only two people serving but they were fast and efficient. I had a very good, obviously very fresh fish and good wine (grauburgunder) by the glass in generous quantity. My son's dünnele was good, but he said it was more or less like pizza..More
This is a cozy place to eat very good traditional local food. The lady running the dining hall is very nice and helpful (in multiple languages!). They have quite a large selection of good wines. Definitely recommended.
Menu isn't in english but the waitress was patient enough to recommend us a couple of must tries in english. The place was really full and busy and it can take a while to get waited on, but just order a local glass of wine...and enjoy! Prices are good, food is good, nice outside terrace seating, indoors can be a little dark!More
Nice traditional place with friendly service and great atmosphere in the old Part of Konstanz. Great Dinnele!
The food was excellent and even better than we could have hoped for. What made our visit extra special was our fabulous waitress Jennifer; she was so patient and took the time to explain the menu items to us since we do not speak German....Fantastic evening!More
It was very busy when we were there, but the service was very good - they hustled around the tables. We had 2 of the “flat bread pizzas” - one with bacon, potatoes and cheese and the other with tomatoes, basil and cheese and a...nice bottle of prosecco. We thoroughly enjoyed everything!More
This was our 23rd day in Germany and this was our best overall dining experience to date. From the drinks and attention we got while we waited all the way through dinner and beyond. The owner took our order and spoke very good English but...entertained my bad German and even helped a bit with my grammar. The locals were very nice and nice to chat with before and during dinner. We both decided to get seafood (since we were on the Bodensee) after a lot of pork and potatoes. We ordered the grilled trout from the lake and it was incredible. We were told by our new friends that she gets her fish fresh every day from the local fishermen. Of course! Incredible wine list as well if you enjoy wine more than the average Joe like we do. DO NOT MISS OUT on this place. Just wait for a table and reap the rewards. I honestly just hope the new found attention doesn't change anything here. I get the feeling it won't at all. Bon Appetit!More
Good simple local food, including Konstanz' take on Flammkuchen ( Dünnele). Staff is friendly, despite the place being very busy.
Just as described on Trip Advisor by many. Great atmosphere even on a Wednesday evening in April. Food was simple but couldn’t be bettered. Good size portions to satisfy cycling appetites. Everything cooked perfectly and v helpful service. Only takes cash.
sometimes feels difficult to get served, but when you do the food will be good, and the atmosphere is always good.
For "atmosphere" read overcrowded with slow service. And if any of the locals eat there, they hide it well. The beer was distinctly average and my "chicken salad" turned out to be a lump of cold coronation chicken served with one lettuce leaf and a...single slice of tomato (which even in England would have been described as "garnish"). Definitely one to avoid.More
