Great traditional fare and really good staff. The Weis beer was also excellent. The staff have limited English and were really accepting of my inability to speak any German. Try the herring starter. A really reasonably priced meal for two with two courses and drinks for 65 Euro. Would I visit here again....YES!

A typical restaurant with very typical dishes and some beers on draft, I ate a speciality off the restaurant, cheap and nice

Our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed this German restaurant for an early dinner. My husband got a chicken schnitzel, which is actually not on the menu, but you can ask for it. He had it with mushrooms in a brown sauce. I had the potato and spinach soup with salmon. It was very good. Our group also ordered the pork... More

If you don't smoke don't bother, we ended up sitting inside as the outside seating was enclosed and full of smokers... This is a region in Germany that has imposed the smoking Ban.... Get a grip! Such a shame.

I visited this restaurant on recommendation of my hotel - I was specifically looking for a restaurant that served schweinhaxe (Pork Knuckle joint). I couldn't see the dish on the menu menu - but noticed it on the Special's menu At first, the waiter advised that the specials were not on today - but when he saw my disappointment he... More

I've been to this place a couple times and it's so good, I need to share! I had the venison (a special while I was there) with the spetzel, my friend had goose and then also have had the snitzel and you can't go wrong with this traditional German food and most people here are locals. I sat at a... More

If you are looking for good beer and good German food this is the place to go, friendly service, reasonable prices and a good homely atmosphere, make this a nice place to drink that 1 beer more.

I have been to this restaurant many times. The service & friendliness of the staff have declined tremendously over the course of time. While traveling on business over past years, they have welcomed Me & my co-workers warmly & offered an English menu specifically for our company. Last night, there was no English menu as they had a special "Oktoberfest"... More

This was a wonderful experience for my first night out in Germany. The traditional German plates tasted good and ample portions. They also have an English menu. This is exactly what I envisioned when planning my trip and they did not disappoint. The décor was on point with typical old wood German charm. I would highly recommend this place to... More

Good German food with good service. There is an outdoor seating area available when the weather is nice. The restaurant is popular with locals and was busy but not crowded. If you're a non-smoker ask for the seating in the non-smoking room. Our waiter was not fluent in English but we managed just fine.
