Alas, me and my partner looked forward to a romantic evening of fine dining. We went in and it was anything but fine, from rude waitress’s to rude managers. The food was below average, below standard and just awful!

Both my husband and I and our two friends were all celebrating our wedding anniversaries and chose Kathton House because of their on-line menu and their willingness, when I contacted them, to offer an alternative if my (fussy) husband couldn't find anything he liked. When...More

My family surprised me by booking a meal at this restaurant, it is a restaurant I always wanted to go to. The food exceptional and customer service was faultless and you certainly will not be leaving there hungry, very much the opposite. I applaud the...More

Ten out of ten for service and food. Delicious home made parmesan rolls, the most exquisite prawn starter and probably the best fish I have ever eaten of endive and cod. Looking forward to a return trip

We have always had a great time here. The food is really good and the staff are really helpful and friendly. This is my favourite restaurant in the area. I hope it continues as it is for a long time.

Not sure but I don't think it's the sort of place to take dogs.

I believe so. There's 2 ways of getting in and all one level including the toilet so can't see why not.

We ate at the restaurant yesterday evening (8 September) and wore smart casual clothes. The rest of the diners were similarly dressed.
