We really enjoyed the food here. Everything was very tasty. We had two kinds of Gnocchi, both delicious. I was surprised that even the Gnocchi with mushrooms and chestnuts wasn't too rich - snowpeas were a lovely touch that lightened it up. Also enjoyed the...shrimp skewer and a basic salad that was excellent. The atmosphere inside is on the noisy side, but we enjoyed the music an it was fun. Service was good. I definitely want to eat here again!More

Nice restaurant on the river. Food was awesome! Service is fast ! It is slightly expensive for my taste but I enjoyed a nice romantic evening here. I would recommend this place for dinner!

Located at Yardenit place, at kinneret village. Goid beer and atmosphere. The meat is great - hamburgers and the other beef food. The prices are a little above the average, but it was tasty. You need to order a sit here.

Still one of the best restaurants in the area. We visited before sunset and stayed until it was dark - quite an experience. Try to get a table along the railing with the river below.

We were in Tiberias for a weekend vacation, and we figured out that on Saturday the whole city is practically closed. So we headed south to Kibbutz Yardenit, at the southernmost point of the Sea of Galilee. The atmospheres in general was very pleasing: the...music, the crowded place (it was packed with people, there were visitors waiting at the entrance waiting for dinners to leave), the staff and the food. We ordered pizza and a cheese plate, with some beers and wine. We sat there for about two hours. The restaurant is called “On the River” because is situated right on the Jordan River.More

The highlight of our dining experiences in Israel on this trip was the discovery (by local recommendation of Amir Ben-Yehoshua) of ON THE RIVER. We’ve been to the popular Yardinet baptismal site on the Jordan River as it flows out of the south end of...the Sea of Galilee. But when the baptismal area shuts down at 5:00 PM and the gift shop at 6:00, the northern entrance opens and ON THE RIVER opens up from 6 PM to 5:00AM! Great food, service & unbeatable atmosphere watching the Jordan River flow by. The bread was warm, food was excellent & total bill about $60USMore

We did use Trip to get here, and still the place exceeded our expectations. Amazing risoto, great cauliflower, wonderful sinta steak, extraordinary kebab. And very fast service! I uploaded an empty photo because we just ate our dishes too quickly😃

A very chilled bar/restaurant - good drinks, lovely atmosphere, reasonable food (key is to choose well I think), great position next to the Jordan River baptismal site, very good service. Well worth going to
