Have been here many times and each time better than last, menu fantastic but would recommend the 'plat Du jour', there presentation is exceptional. Would highly recommend booking as quite a small place, definitely don't ski past or your missing out.

Yes the setting is cosy and cute, yes the dishes look more sophisticated than in the usual foody places on ski slopes, yes a jar of water is by default on your table and the coffee is truly good... BUT we did not feel particularly welcome despite we had passed by earlier to book a table. We were left with... More

Magical experience walking from Samoens 1600 and arriving at La Luge - lit by lamps and open fires, one of which heating the vin chaud- great start! The food was excellent - plateau with a boite chaude, hams, potatoes, salad and a great dessert. Helped down at the end of the meal by som local génépi Pascal and the team... More

Ok so let's not get too carried away excellent in its category would be more appropriate . very good service, food is good but portions are too big . Reasonably priced but again so small booking is essential . As the photo shows why would anyone want the main plate served with dessert ? Cafe not bad . Yes I... More

Firstly the staff are very friendly . The food are excellent and good selection too . We have been to this restaurant few times .However is advisable to book before hand because it is very busy . We tend to go there around 12 noon which then have a better chance of getting a table without booking .Highly recommended .

This place is a real gem. It needs a bit of finding, lying as it does in a little dell off the side of the piste Dahu just above Samoens 1600. If you are skiing in this area, I recommend you look this place out. The cuisine and service show a level of refinement and quality well above that of... More

Stopped here for our first lunch of the trip. Booked a table and was shown promptly to it on arrival, even though it was very busy at the time. Great seats/benches where you lift the seat up to reveal a storage space underneath to put helmets, gloves etc so as not to clutter up the table. Very good food and... More

After the lifts have closed you can arrange to meet the charming owner who will escort you for a 20 minute torch light walk across the snowy mountain pistes to this torch lit fairly tail chalet. You will be greeted with warm vin chaud and delicious starters around the fire pit. The stars are just so bright as there is... More

Great little mountain hut - warm, rustic, cozy, friendly. Great food and drink. Great location so not too busy when I was in. Recommended. Popular with all in the know.
