Really enjoyed our meal here. Such a nice atmosphere. We had steak in a delicious mushroom sauce with tasty vegetables. We needed to reserve even though it was mid week and off season. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely little restaurant with very welcoming, friendly, attentive staff providing an excellent service. We had a nice table in an alcove and chose the raclette, which whilst not the old fashioned cheese clamp, the amount of cheese and meats was plentiful - enough for 4 not 2! They gave us a doggy bag too! Overall a lovely... More

Not fine dining, but good local cuisine. Portion sizes are large so light lunch before hand is recommended. You will need to book as was full when we went and they turned several groups away. Just a good example of a Savoyard restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food

Get a table in the alcove cheap, romantic specialities, good service , and in the centre of town . Again a small restaurant so booking is essential . Not sure if they stil do two sittings but if they do and your on the late one note we had to wait until all the tables were empty before they would... More

If you're after a typical French meal inSamoens then La Tornalta should be where you head. At busy periods it's worth booking, food is middle of the road and priced accordingly.

This restaurant is a busy traditional restaurant. We have been visiting it over many years and on our recent visit noticed the burnt cheese fug had disappeared. This turned out to be because the raclette is now served with slices of cheese rather than the original cheese clamp: not as enjoyable for those eating it but a benefit for everyone... More

An ideal restaurant after a day of skiing. I would thoroughly recommend the Lasagne, the salads and the racalette and fondues looked wonderful!

Just popped in on the way home for a quick lunch. Had the 'menu du jour' which everyone else in the restaurant was also having. An nice Savoyarde lunch with a pleasant red Bourgogne wine to go with it

Celebrating a special anniversary on our second honeymoon we stumbled across this tiny gem in an ancient building. Off season so perhaps not open every day but happily we arrived and were easily accommodated by the pleasant English speaking waiter. Highly recommend the veal with vegetables and tarte tatin. Happy diners!

Have dined here many times over the last 15 years, serves typical Savoyard food along with various dishes such as Lasagne, fish, lamb etc. Good helpings but a little pricey compared to other options.
