Came here for our last day of a short break and were delighted. The service was excellent and friendly, food delicious and ambience great. This is certainly not the cheapest place to eat but you get what you pay for and we would definitely go again if we return to Samoens. We had the duck for a main course and... More

This place was just next to our apartment so we decided to check it out. The restaurant itself is very cosy, even if we were seated in the "new part". Ask to be seated in the old part, it's much nicer. We had cheese fondue and duck and both were good. I would recommend it since there isn't that many... More

Had a fabulous evening here with the family for my husbands birthday, hot stone steaks are well worth having, excellent! Something really different, a lovely setting too. Service was a little slow but they are busy and I think they want you to relax and enjoy the experience.

The restaurant is very charming and cosy and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the service was poor which left us feeling a bit disappointed about the whole experience.

8 boys on a ski trip had an excellent meal here. The steak, lamb and fish were all superb. Good puds as well. Friendly service and decent wine all for 50 euros a head.

We had a lovely birthday lunch for 10 people in there. The place is beautifully and suitably designed in "mountains/chalet" style and very cosy, yet has elegance to it. The food was excellent too, locally inspired, as was the choice and recommendations of local wine. The steak that you have to cook yourself slice by slice was very impressive. We... More

we were a party of 9 people and the service, food and wine was enjoyed by all. The owner really knows his wine so be sure to follow his advice. we all loved our food but I always have the beef cooked on a hot stone. Its such a treat.

This restaurant, beautifully designed with wood taken from old buildings in the area, has very nicely prepared food with good presentation, excellent service with a welcoming staff, a good wine list, and a lovely quiet location at the edge of town. We came with grandchildren and our son in law, and all loved the place so much we returned 2... More

This looks like an expensive restaurant from the outside - lots of smart cars in the car park and quite a high end attitude from the staff when you arrive. We had booked at another restaurant but it had a power cut and the owners kindly made this reservation and let us know - very helpful. It's a few minutes... More

I went with a group that made a reservation months in advance. Well worth it. Has a great ambiance & the food was delicious. As a starter they provided everyone awesome cheese puffs. So light & airy. I had a roasted chicken with pasta and cream sauce. I would get it again. For dessert I had some light fresh cheese... More
